Michael Jackson Estate

Judge Approves Move

To Sell Michael's House

2/23/2012 5:00 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1005-katherine-jackson-ex-01
The Michael Jackson Estate just got the ok from a judge to sell the Hayvenhurst mansion which Michael and the rest of the family called home for decades, and buy another home for Katherine and MJs kids.

But here's the thing.   We've learned the Estate doesn't want to sell Hayvenhurst -- at least for now, because it's being extensively renovated.  But the Estate now has the green light to proceed whenever it chooses.

And the judge made another order -- allowing the executors to put $30 million in the Jackson Family Trust for the benefit of Katherine, Michael's kids, and his charities.

Katherine's lawyer, Perry Sanders, tells TMZ, "It is our understanding that the motion to sell Hayvenhurst was withdrawn and this is merely for permission to buy a different place for the beneficiaries to reside."  He adds, "Neither Mrs. Jackson nor Michael's children want Hayvenhurst to be sold and we are not aware of any intention on the part of the estate to resubmit a request to sell the family home."

They should make a rule that nobody else can live in the new house except for the 4 of them and hired help!

It was greedy unatural mother Katherine who wanted to sell Hayvenhurst but later retracted telling she never had intention of selling it!!! Actually, she had pretended from the Estate the renovations and then she said she wanted a new house....!!!!! Of course now she is happy when she sees more money, greedy as she is!!!! The Estate is doing an excellent job to safeguard Michael's fortune, name and legacy, thanks to them very much for everything they are doing!!!!

The Hayvenhurst house isn't a great buy. It's on a very busy street with much smaller, cheaper houses. But you can walk to Gelsons.

Please do NOT sell the family home it is full of great memories for the family, it happened in our family and most of the family are extremely upset. Mrs. Jackson you don't have to live there anymore leave it for the family members.

These people have sucked everything out of MJ . . . 30 million? Who need 30 million to exist what for a year while other people make it on 50k yearly. Mrs. Jackson has lived a pretty cushy life and it appears she has no plans on cutting back . . . suck whatever is left of MJ dry before you die.

That house has the strangest location especially for anyone famous. On the other side of the side fence is Gelson's market and parking lot. I'm surprised how long they stayed there.

Seriously? You are STILL here nearly 3 years later talking your nonsense????? I used to post more regularly a year or two ago and this guy never stopped with his ridiculously childish rants. I really would have thought you found something better to do by now. ::shaking my head::

you do realize Michael Jackson went bankrupt and hired lawyers to get around the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Prevention Act of 2005 and his debt went to the american tax paying public while he continued to spend obscene amounts of money on toys and other weird pedophile paraphernalia.
