Chris Brown's Alleged Victim

'He Snatched My Phone!' (VIDEO)

2/24/2012 10:08 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Christal Spann interviewed by police.
The woman who claims Chris Brown robbed her of her cell phone was captured on video obtained by TMZ, clearly agitated as she tells cops, "He snatched my phone."

Christal Spann and her 2 friends seem spontaneous and upset as she exclaims several times, "I just want my phone back."

One of Spann's friends told police, Brown exclaimed, "Bitch, you not gonna put this up on no website."

Spann filed a police report, claiming she was attempting to take a picture of Brown early Sunday morning in Miami when he ripped her phone out of her hand and drove away.

Brown is being investigated  for the crime of "robbery by sudden snatching." If he's arrested, authorities in L.A. could move to violate his probation in the Rihanna beating case, and that could land him in California prison for 4 years.

The Miami Beach P.D. and the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office are aware of the video in this post and they will be evaluating it in deciding whether to charge Brown with a crime.

This story allegedly happened Sunday, why is it just coming out a week later?

She must have put her hand inside of the vehicle to take his picture. That is the only way I can imagine him easily taking the phone away from her.

Pimpcessa: Once a complaint is brought, it's not up to the victim to drop the charges. It's up to the DA's office.

Alex Knowles. It did not happen a week ago. The Miami Herald editorial news room say they learned about it on Sunday morning, just three hours after it happened. But because Monday PResident's Day was a federal holiday, they couldn't get the police report. It took a couple of days. This came out just four days later. Not that unusual.

You might want to focus on what the crime allegedly entails, not on how long it took for the report to come out, which was not that long.

I doubt she will press charges. She's probably negotiating a payday from Brown.

He has serious entitlement issues. What makes him think he can take someone else's property.

Celebjustice: At this point, a police report has been filed. It is not up to her now as to how the case proceeds. It is now in the hands of the State's Attorney General and THEY are the only ones who get to decide whether to press charges-= even if she doesn't want it.

This is extremely serious because what he did is a felony while on probation. The LA DA's office is watching this very carefully.

I can easily see Chris Brown taking her phone. She's female, she's small in stature, and Brown snatched it and took off before anyone knew what happened.
The question really isn't "jail or no jail" - the real question is what kind of person takes stuff that doesn't belong to him. Especially a supposed "Man" taking something from a young, small woman. The man's a creep.
