Kardashian Sisters

Your Diet Pills Are BOGUS!!!!

3/2/2012 6:27 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Kim Kardashian and a diet pill called QuickTrim
Kim Kardashian and her sisters waged a campaign of LIES when they claimed they got their rock hard bikini bodies from a diet pill called QuickTrim ... this according to a new $5 MILLION lawsuit.

The point of the suit -- a bunch of people in NY claim there's no POSSIBLE way QuickTrim could've helped Kim, Khloe and Kourtney lose weight ... because the main ingredient is caffeine. According to the suit, "The FDA has determined [caffeine] is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control."

Enter the Kardashians ... celebrity spokespeople who are featured on just about every single product QuickTrim sells.

According to the suit, filed in NY by Bursor & Fisher, the Kardashians fed lies to the public through commercials, magazines and social media since 2009 ... like when Kim went on Twitter and said, "Our QuickTrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight."

The plaintiffs claim they would NEVER have purchased the QuickTrim products if they would have known the truth ... and claim the Kardashian testimonials were completely unsubstantiated.

Now, the Kardashians, QuickTrim and various companies that sold the products are being sued for more than $5 million in damages.

So far, no comment from the Kardashian camp.

lol this is so stupid...these clowns realize the formula contains other ingredients aside from caffeine, right? I mean, sure, of course the girls worked out with trainers most likely 4-5 times a week...but either way, if the fact remains that they at least were drinking the product on workout days, how can you prove that it DIDN'T help "at all" like the suit states.

Usually caffeine's for energy and the other ingredients are for weight loss...ehh, who am I, just some guy, haha

Another "Krap"dashian" product shows it's true colors. The public is finally acknowledging that this family is only out to make a buck any way it can. They lack integrity and ethics.

i <3 quicktrim. i would testify that quick trim DID help me lose weight. people consume more caffiene from multiple trips to starbucks, dunkin donuts or 7-11 a day. to be realistic, and logical - quicktrim isn't the only diet pill with caffiene as a main ingredient. anyway, NO diet pill is approve by fda. if girls are stupid enough to take diet pills without reading the ingredients or understanding the product, it isn't the kardashians fault. obviously people should read warnings and dosage instructions. i can and DO take six quicktrim pills or more throughout the day and don't experience any heart related or health related problems. people need to stop hating on the kardashians because they're broke and jealous and if you're insecure enough to take a diet pill realize they DO come with precautions and EVERY weight loss pill doesn't come with a gaurantee. it worked for me and i would testify.

Caffeine is definitely a weight control product. I lost 85 pounds in just 8 weeks, drinking Starbucks Espresso. It is better than Jenny Craig or any other weight loss diet. After drinking Espresso, I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to eat. It is cheaper than drugs and it is legal.

first of all even if it was the kardashian endorsing it, ppl should realize if it isnt approved by the FDA its probably crap. Second, diet, exercise is what helps a person lose weight. Surgery if it extreme there isnt a pill.

Want to lose weight? Burn off more calories than you take in. It's not rocket science. What you don't do is buy diet products being pitched by 3 fat chicks (assuming Khloe is actually a chick).
