Seems pretty obvious that the guy is really self-conscious about his wealth and fame, so he goes out of his way to look "blue collar" or something. He's been paid over $50 million for his films and yet he dresses in old, cheap, used clothing on the street, then rocks some sort of $2,000 armani on red carpets... The guy has a serious identity crises.
