'Lost' Star Terry O'Quinn

The Ending Was FINE!

ATTENTION ALL DISAPPOINTED "LOST" FANS -- The guy who played Locke on the show says the ending was "OK" with him ... so ... maybe it's time to finally let it go?

TMZ spoke with Terry O'Quinn in NYC yesterday -- coolest guy ever BTW -- who tells us he was totally cool with the whole "We're all kinda dead" ... despite the fact producers left a couple of things hanging ...

... like the what's up with the numbers? Why was there a 4-toed statue? How did the Polar Bear get on the island? Whatever happened with Walt ... and why was he special? Why did Kate see a horse on the island? Who built that crazy magical wheel?

We could go on for hours ... seriously ... but this video does a pretty good job of summing up all of our issues with the show.

Anyway, Terry tells us he doesn't really get a lot of flack for the way the show ended these days ... telling us, "We sorta finished it and walked away."

No matter what you think about the ending, Lost was one of the greatest shows ever. It have been over for almost 2 years and people still talk about it. That was one of the only series I have ever stuck with start to finish. Probably thanks in part to DVR :)

There was a polar bear on the island because the Dharma folk were doing experiments with them. Tom talks about them in Season 3 when Kate and Sawyer are kept in the bear cages.

ha. came to answer those "unanswered" questions but pleasantly surprised to see them all answered. the writing on this website is some of the best "hey if they can do it anyone can" you're ever going to find.

The show was written poorly. I always thought the name of the show was an apt description for the writers.
I just finished watching all 120 episodes in a row. Evangeline was the prettiest thing on TV. And Locke? Only the very best actor in the show and I almost didn't care what the plot was because he rocked it.

But what DO you do when you write a show like this and you don't know how long it will continue? That's a deep challenge for any writing crew. And for what it's worth.. any ending would have been tough!

They didn't lie because they didn't end up in the afterlife until after they died. Every single thing that we saw on and off of the island for the first five seasons and on the island during the sixth really happened as they WERE alive and NOT in the afterlife at that point. That is one of the things that was actually flat out stated to us on the actual show but if you want to claim that it isn't a fact then all power to you.

PASSION OF Z TAINT:
People predicted that at the end they will have all been dead THE ENTIRE TIME and that THE ISLAND was purgatory. That didn't happen so please explain how they predicted the end? If people said from the start that they would all die at the end and then be in purgatory, you'd have some merit.

I am not saying that you guys have to be happy with how thigns turned out but at least have a factual basis for the portions of your arguments that aren't opinion based.

My biggest gripe was not revealing why Libby was at Hurley's mental institution halfway through the series, after she was dead. What was that significance?

they answered every single ****ing one of those question you ****ing retards.

the number were assigned to the candidates by jacob

the 4 toed statue was of the egyptian goddess Taweret built by the egyptians, it became only a leg with 4 toes when the black rock slave ship carrying richard slammed into it during a storm

darma brought the polar bears

walt got off the island. he appears grown up in a bunch of later episodes

the horse was the man in black

THE MAN IN BLACK BUILT THE ****ING WHEEL. THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE EPISODE WHERE HE KILLED HIS MOTHER.

Wow, people are whining about Lost -- two years later! I watched Lost since 2004 and enjoyed it greatly, but some of you people are really fanatical. Lost was entertainment. That is all it was. Why not just enjoy the show for what it was. For mysteries that were unanswered, use your imagination.
