'Biggest Loser' Wedding

NO BOOZE ALLOWED

5/2/2012 12:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0501_biggest_loser_wedding_launch"Biggest Loser" contestant Joe Messina's recent nuptials violated the one cardinal rule of weddings everywhere -- GET EVERYONE WASTED -- because booze was NOT allowed at the party.

TMZ broke the story ... the former Season 13 contestant tied the knot recently in Michigan -- and 12 other current and former contestants attended -- but the wedding party lacked a key ingredient .... alcohol.

Sources tell us ... the groom and his "Loser" guests are serious as a heart attack when it comes to their new healthy lifestyle -- so they axed all forms of alcohol from the menu (alcoholic drinks contain a lot of calories). Thankfully, we're told the crowd -- which was pretty religious -- didn't drink much anyway.

But Joe's reign of terror didn't end there -- we're told he also subbed a real wedding cake for low-fat pumpkin cake pops ... and served only food from the "Biggest Loser Cookbook" ... such as:

-- Grilled Chicken with Mango, Thai Quinoa Salad
-- Tossed Salad
-- Fresh Fruit Salad
-- Asian Chopped Salad
-- Salad Salad

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse ... we're told the guests actually WORKED OUT before the ceremony.

No one was injured.

That's probably why there's hardly anyone there. The only good reason to go to someone else's wedding is to get trashed and try and hook up with a drunk chick.

There's a problem here

I can't comment on the meal that was provided. It looked good to me. If you must drink you can always find a bar or stash a flask, so that's not a problem. The thing that strikes me is it looks like they got married near a mossy moldy bridge abutment. I think there have been nicer weddings in those places that have cars up on blocks in front of the trailer. I also think the groom should eat some more salad. Do as I say, not as I do?

Good riddance!

Well, that's one way to keep a Lowhan from crashing your party.

Funny how easy it is to make fun or be disgusted by a fat person. These people are actually trying to be healthy and do the right things and they too are getting raked over the coals. A wedding is a commitment between two people not an open bar and buffet.

This is part of the reason they stay big. All or nothing is not healthy and can lead to binging. They could let themselves enjoy less than healthy food and drink in small quantities on special occassions. Moderation is the key to a healthy lifestyle.
