I appreciate the fact that Bono got his degree for bringing human suffering to the forefront but he had the time and the money to do so. The rest of us schmucks had to run up student debt that will take years to pay off just to receive our bachelors degrees and the time and dedication for a masters, let alone all that is involved in a PhD all while struggling to work at a full time job and keep a family. There should be a huge distinction between earning a degree and being given one, even for good works. I mean, even Oprah has a doctorate. WTF?

IF they EARNED the degree, then that is fantastic, BUT to just hand out HONORARY Doctorate degrees for money is just bad news... Too many celebrities get special degrees JUST for being famous. I call that BULLSH*T....

They purposely spelled congratulations wrong to hint that they are GRADUATES. Duh....

I'd like to point out how Shaq acts as if he is above every one ever since he got that stupid degree. You can see him on TNT quoting people from the past, trying to relate it to basketball and telling people to call him Dr. .. Ridiculous.

Are they all graduating? Or are some getting honorary degrees, and giving speeches?
