Francesca Eastwood

DEATH THREATS After

Destroying Birkin Bag

5/28/2012 12:30 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0528_francesca_eastwood_birken_bagClint Eastwood's daughter has been bombarded with vicious online death threats after she publicly demolished a $100,000 Birkin bag in the name of art, TMZ has learned.

Francesca Eastwood, star of "Mrs. Eastwood and Company," and her BF Tyler Shields took a chain saw to the pricey bag and then LIT IT ON FIRE ... which has angered dozens of fashionistas (and many who are just economically challenged).

Eastwood has been receiving death threats via Twitter and Facebook, such as:

-- "Some of us actually have to work and live check 2 check, spoiled rotten bitch to burn 100k bag."
-- "You’re a stupid whore. How f***ing dumb can you be."
-- "You should kill urself, ungrateful bitch – wasted money when families can't eat."

Sources close to Francesca tell us ... the 19-year-old said she knew people would be shocked, but never expected this level of hatred. We're told she's been telling friends ... people just don't understand art.

her bag, she can do what she wants. People are ridiculous this day with this whole, "woah is me, i don't make that much money and there are poor people so you shouldn't be allowed to do what you want with your money if you're rich because i'm not."

Good riddance!

Well if her her daddy's money that was wasted on this 'art project', maybe he'll come to his senses and cut her off and she will appreciate just what a $100k is really worth? But death threat are even more stupid than her actions.

Clint is a pretty conservative dude as opposed to Francesca's mom. I would bet if he saw this he wishes he would have pulled out some 20 years ago!

Why are people mad? She didn't burn cash.... she burned the bag she PAID for. The money she paid is now out there paying for Berkin employee's pay checks. And it is an AMAZING photograph!!!! AMAZING!

Though not the brightest thing to do.... essentially burning a $100K, death threats to a 19 year old girl are uncalled for.

Art or not, my materials NEVER cost THIS much! Yes, it's hers and she has the right to do so, but she is also a public figure now. And whether or not it stimulates the economy doesn't really matter either. It's unethical during a time when so many are hurting financially, emotionally, and so on. She's definitely spoiled to the core. Hope she makes up for it somehow.

I don't see any death threats in the examples you showed, tmz. So lame. She's just another airhead playing games, the type reality tv wants to cram down our throats every day. No thanks.

I don't care if she is rich.. .Burning something that expensive in the name of art is disgusting. And wasteful. Instagram does not make one a photographer. Or an artist. And isn't art supposed to mean something? Does hers mean "I'm so rich I can burn money for entertainment?"

First of all, her boyfriend was the one who bought the purse and convinced her to do it (and she sheepishly accepted to do it because she does ANYTHING the guy tells her to do). Second, she didn't want to do it at first and felt guilty after doing it. Her boyfriend should be the one getting the threats. Not only does he expose her to this type of stuff, he constantly puts her in danger.

Does she deserve death threats, no! Is this art controversial, depends on how you look at it. I don't think it is, I think they are trying to show how having lots of money can only buy you useless material things. I think the photos are great! Who people should really be mad at are all the rich people buying those bags to use as a status symbols, when that money can be used for the less fortunate. And no, I don't think even they deserve death threats.

yeah, so it's her money and her bag...so what? it's not about whether she is allowed to do what she did to her own stuff, it's that she would even want to at all, since there are people in her own country that are hungry and sick that she could have helped....if she had any humanity and intellect.....instead of wasting it and calling it art, which is was not. It was a spoiled, empty human being trying to show off her wealth by camouflaging it as art.
