'Ain't No Homos Gonna

Make It to Heaven'

This video is nuts -- an Indiana toddler took the mic at his church recently, and sang a hate-filled anti-gay song ... with the lyrics, "Ain't no homos gonna make it to heaven" ... and the crowd went WILD.

The video was reportedly recorded at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Greensburg, Indiana --  featuring a young boy on the altar, barely old enough to walk, singing a song he was obviously spoon fed.

It's pretty hard to make out the words -- so here are the lyrics ...

"The Bible’s right, somebody’s wrong.
The Bible’s right, somebody’s wrong.
Romans one, twenty six and twenty seven;
Ain’t no homos gonna make it to Heaven."

The congregation erupts in thunderous applause after the song.

FYI, here's Romans 1:26-27 -- "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."

It's the latest video to hit the web showing rampant homophobia in America's churches -- starting with a North Carolina pastor advocating beating the gay out of your child ... and another NC pastor talking about fencing up gay people and letting them die out.

This is horrible---We have no right to judge someone!

Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

I guarantee you God is not going to be happy about them using His name for their vain and bigoted purposes. They are making a mockery of Christianity and, while I don't like the idea of ANYONE getting death threats, I have a hard time feeling sympathy for this horrible group of people. And if what the Bible forbids is used as a guide for getting into heaven, then they need to be afraid, for they ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. If that is the criteria, no adulterer, no gossiper, no divorcee, no one who has had sex outside of their one and only marriage, no covetor, no liar, no cheat, no RICH person, no vain person, no FAT person (gluttony)...will make it into heaven. They are an embarrassment to the teachings of Christ and should be ashamed. But they won't be. They are that self-righteous and holier-than-thou.

It's a shame that parents can teach their child hate and the church applauds it.

God probably wept when he saw this. So sad.

why would any real Christian celebrate about someone not making it to heaven. Too busy judging and not truly loving. I pray that that church comes to really know who Jesus is.

This is disgusting. I really can't wait until "judgement day" to see all these fools on their knees begging for mercy for the horrible things they unleash onto the world. This is NOT what Jesus would do. This child has NO idea what he is saying. It's just plain sick that anyone would think this is ok.

Sick, sick people. Go home to your beer-filled lives and keep your hate to yourselves. There's no hope for your kids. They'll be bumped off soon enough.

If these are the kind of people who will be in heaven, I'm not so sure I want to go there.

Not unexpected, too many religions believe their way is the only way and push their doctrine on little minds full of mush. This breeds intolerance and closemindedness and dooms future generations to the same way of thinking.

Cheering over the idea that anyone isn't going to get into Heaven is the saddest part of this story. Sing whatever you like. Brainwash your children like everybody else does. But the applause and laughing at non admittance into Heaven is sick. These people aren't believers. They're just fans.

For me, the issue is less that you believe homosexuality is wrong and feel the need to teach the kids such (which don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily think that's cool either), but more the WAY you went about it. When you are whistling, jumping up and down and cheering a child who is singing a song about real people burning for an eternity while using slurs to refer to those people...especially when you do so more than you would at the simple non-hateful statement of "Jesus is Lord", you aren't teaching a belief, you are teaching hatred. There is a difference between believing that something is wrong and spitting hatred. You're encouraging a mindset and setting the kid on a path that will cause him to never speak in a way that will ever actually sway anyone's belief system. This level of encouragement at such a young stage will cause him to grow up to be a very fake person that says he aches for the souls of the homosexuals to justify the fact that he has become gigantic ass when, in reality, he just wants to be a bigot.

You aren't teaching the kid to be a Christian, you are teaching him to be an ass.

Does that mean it's cool when someone calls the pastor at his house to issue death threats? No. Such a thing makes a person no better, and in many cases worse, than the person that angered them. Does that make it okay when you are being perfectly nice and respectful to a person and they start shouting at and demeaning you because you're a Christian? No. That is just as bad and hate-filled. Neither side should be surprised when the other gets defensive when it is being attacked, but at the same time it takes a bigger person to let it roll off their back and behave like a rational adult.
