Tom Cruise

Didn't Pay Katie

Lump Sum in Divorce

7/13/2012 7:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0711_tom_cruise_secrets_Settlement_article_2Tom Cruise did not pay Katie Holmes a lump sum in his divorce settlement, but he will pay handsomely in the child support department ... sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ.

Our well-connected sources tell us ... reports that Katie scored $50 million are "ridiculous." We're told she did not get a lump sum of money at all. As we previously reported, Katie signed a prenup which gave her goose eggs by ending the marriage. And, sources connected with Katie have been telling us from day 1 that she was not after his money. As one source put it, "She has her own money."

We do know, however, that Tom is paying "a lot of money" in the form of child support. Tom will be making regular payments for 12 years. Our sources say all tolled, Tom will be paying "more than $10 million" in child support, though no one would be more specific.

Scientologist cult members have already been briefed on how to try and take down comments that show the truth about them. Here is an e-mail that a high level scientologist wrote to peers:

Subject: RE: Simple hatting on how to fight back on the internet
and Stand Up For Your Religion

Dear Razz Line members,

I am not a big fan of media, but you may have glanced the news of
the split between TC and Holmes and all the speculations around.
While this is a personal matter, when people start to bring our
religion into the middle and a bunch of uninformed people start to
spread false datum, rumors and defame our religion it became a
matter that does affect my Dynamics and I believe that affects
yours as well.

Well, I am not somebody that I am going to simply stand and watch a
bunch of uninformed people putting my religion under the carpet. So
here is a simple hatting on how you can causative fight back and at
the same time stand up and defend our religion on the internet.

Microsoft or Google or any of these big online company require that
each person when create an account with them follow a Code of
Conduct when they are on the internet. If there are abuse of such
Code of Conduct, those website do actually invite you to report the
matter to the Moderator — in other word, write the matter to

These is where things can be turn around!

Here is a simple example on how to fight back abuse of the Code of
Conduct that is happening within the Microsoft (MSN) website:

1. One of the Code of Conduct that Microsoft impose is to not
“threatens, defames, degrades… an individual or group of
individuals for any reason; including on the basis of age, gender,
disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, race, religion; or
incites or encourages anyone else to do so..”

So is you go to MSN Now – What’s Trending? you will see different
articles about TC and Holmes split. The articles then ask for
comment…. (Note: if the article does not show up anymore on the
first page, go to the search bar and type ‘Tom Cruise Divorce’…
or a similar search. You want to go where the comment section is)

On each comment if you place your mouse over it,it show up on the
bottom right a tag that say ‘REPORT’.

2. Click the “Report” Tag and a small window show up. Click the tab
“Send Note to Moderator”

3. Once you do that a new window show up and you can send a text of
100 character. You can write something like ‘Violate Your Code of
Conduct’. “defames or degrades a group for any reason including on
the basis of religion.”

The above exact comment it fit.

4. Read the comment from people and pick the ones that fit the
violation of the Code of Conduct.

5. Report the Violation!! That’s it!! You are done.

6. Now rinse and repeat the same process from step 2 to 5..

Once you got the hang of it it get pretty fast and in one hour you
can report of lots of these nonsense comment!

If is only one person (me) reporting these issues, the Moderator at
Microsoft will not take the comment off. if you start to have 10 or
20 people reporting it, they are going to take this down.

LRH give an exact quote on the Price of Freedom that you find on
Tape 1 – Transcript page 32 – The Genus of Dianetics and
Scientology – ANATOMY OF THE HUMAN MIND CONGRESS. The same quote
appear also in the Tech Dictionary under the Price of Freedom.

Ok – there you have it!! This simple hatting is something that you
can use now for this or similar situations that may happen in the
This is what they do. They get sockpuppet accounts and report and report and report.

oh, & P.S- LIKE if you think Tom has the biggest GayFace here

Well he's put her in the position of needing round the clock security, so he should have to pay his part of that. I'm sure the fact that she didn't want to challenge the prenup was what made the settlement go so quick.

So it looks like Suri won;t be wearing hand me downs. That's a relief. I was really worried. WGAS.

Good for Suri, this is the consequence when men get involved with women and create a human being.

I don't know much about the "Scientoilogists" but man, the anti-scoientiologists are a bunch of radicals. I have never seen any people so full of their own self important opinions and fears. Look at their repetitive hateful emotional posts bloated with fear accusations and drama. And they all claim to be speaking THE TRUTH. All conforming to the exact same lines.

What a bunch.

what is wrong with alot of you people? You sound so mean spirited!! What has Tom Cruises done that has really been that bad? He has never done drugs or any reports of alcohol abuse, he works alot, he loves his daughter alot. He makes interesting movies. I remember this happening to a fellow named Charlie Chaplin years ago....You guys are putting a X on someone who really has never done anything wrong...most of you people just seem to want to listen to every fabricated story out there....

I honestly don't get the Tom hate. The woman knew what she was getting into when she married and had a child by him. Some of you acting like he cheated or beat her or something. This is by the far the tamest celebrity divorce this decade. Comments on here only proves how much a bigot Americans are.

She needs it for security. Hopefully the poor kid can have a normal life now.

Um, all it says is there wasn't a lump sum. That probably means he is paying out the amount, per month. So he doesn't have to liquidate anything large.

This is what everyone is worried about.....

An ex-Scientologist tells exclusively, ”Tom never ever thought that the demure Katie whom he married would ever see the truth and yes he is terrified.

Terrified that she will reveal all the manipulation that goes on in Scientology. Katie was even told to disconnect from her own family!”

Now that Katie, 33, has split from Tom, 50, her parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes, are reportedly happy to have “the old Katie back.”

The source continued, “Ever since she [Katie] met Tom, she had been living in a prison, she has been living in h-ll.

Katie will be made to feel like she is being followed, that she is evil. They want to make her feel powerless and afraid.”

Thankfully, Katie’s star status will hopefully keep her safe! “Because she is a public figure, they can’t touch her because they are more afraid of her than she is of them.

Scientology treats celebrities like royalty, but Katie saw how they treated regular people. They convince vulnerable people who are suffering that they can save them.

But in the end it’s all about control and money. All of us who have escaped are so incredibly grateful that Katie will not subject her daughter to this cult which had nothing to do with unconditional love,” our source added.

“The word love does not exist in Scientology. The words fear and enemy do exist. And in the long run, Katie and Suri will be just fine.”

Unfortunately, our source also claims that the word “enemy” will come up again when Tom’s children, Isabella and Connor Cruise, are told that Katie is an enemy to them!

I want to know why some people like to say Tom Cruise is homosexual or else, I was wondering,if he was,why nobody include the paparazzi never saw him with a male partner?! he is such a public persona, I believe someone would to see or take a picture of him in that matter. Another thing I wonder: why everybody is hammering his Church and him for follow what he believes?! let see... never no one which belong to his Church had being caught doing bad thing to others like: sex abusing child, act of terrorism, killings, because of they famous and wealth, looking at people with contempt and many other things. Everybody knows how Tom treat people which working with him or for him. He has consideration and respect for everyone of them.
I just want to say before I finished, please stop believe in every bull you read or hear in the News, you know they create horrible histories to make the sick people to throw out money, buying they magazines. Please give-him a break !!! and let that man heels from that painful split and move on. I only hope one day, Suri will not throw in her mother's face what she did to her father using her as a victim, to have people feel sorry for her and at the same time, gain public sympathy for her mother in order to save her image and on the side make a lot of money.

The one question to be asked about anything in life is, "If 'it' is so great, why all the intense secrecy, blatant deception, brainwashing using the Hegelian dialectic, or "repeater psychology," etc.? Why the coercion, paranoia, and huge PR expenditures?

I think Cruise himself demonstrated a lot of that in interviews regarding Scientology and its beliefs. He came across as disconnected from reality, VERY overbearing and dogmatic, as well as the speculation he doesn't eschew narcotics quite as vehemently as he insists. I doubt anyone took him or Scientology seriously after those....

At this point I almost feel sorry for Cruise. It can't be lost on him that Kate filed the day before his 50th birthday party.

Even if Cruise WERE to take Marty Rathbun's advice about escaping the "church," they have him by the short hairs in terms of the rumored celeb, and other, gay lovers.

That is, unless he were to come clean with that so-called orientation.... this is why deception and lies are a prison. They become so convoluted that they frequently, if not always, come back to bite and enslave.

Personally, I never cared one way or another who is and isn't straight or gay. A baseball player once told me Tom's "throw" in Top Gun was "gay," but without prejudice.

Does ANYONE really give a rat's buttocks what they do in private?? That's why God invented doors!!! It's the elaborate, over-the-top deception, treating us like idiots, that no doubt bothers so many.

Gay doesn't change the entertainment value for me, but this insane crap with a dangerous cult does, and compels me to withhold any money I might be sending their way, however inadvertently, via movie, streaming or DVD sales.

I mean, what would you rather do, live a lifetime in the agony of possible discovery/catastrophe, or just come out with it, and be free, once and for all? Ellen took a shot, and we loved her for it.

Oprah, are you listening?
