George Zimmerman

to Trayvon Martin's Parents

'I'm Sorry'

7/18/2012 3:55 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

George Zimmerman
has issued an emotional apology to the parents of Trayvon Martin ... and says he prays for them every single day.

Zimmerman sat down with Sean Hannity and for the first time on camera, the man who shot and killed 17-year-old Martin back in February is talking about the incident.

During the interview, which airs tonight on Fox News, Hannity asks if Zimmerman had a message for Trayvon's parents ... to which George replied, "I would tell them that, again, I’m sorry."

After noting that he and his wife do not have any children of their own, he continued, "I am sorry that [Trayvon's parents] buried their child ... I can’t imagine what it must feel like and I pray for them daily."

Zimmerman has been charged with 2nd degree murder ... and if convicted, could face up to life in prison.

How perfect. Hannity is a tool, as is Zimmerman. This promises to be a total eye roll vom fest.

Of course it's Hannity. Hannity hasn't had any remorse for Trayvon's family. He hasn't tried to interview them. I bet Hannity was the one who bailed him out. He probably took money from his multi millionaire dollar contract to bail Zimmerman out. Hannity and Fox News shouldn't be proud of " doing what the other media won't". Yes, Trayvon had run ins with the law, but he was unarmed that day and Zimmerman followed him because he was dangerous (black). But whatever, the bad and deceiving always get the long end of the stick and the good gets the shaft, pun intended.

That does not sound like a man who is sorry he sounds like a GUTLESS COWARD trying to keep his lying murdering A$$ out of Prison.

Total B.S. orchestrated by attorney on friendly Fox, who's so worried about guns, they don't care an innocent kid got killed. He wasn't sorry until he got coached by a lawyer. The guy's a violent nut who literally had his finger on the trigger. Really hope he does jail time. The kid wasn't perfect, but those who try to justify his murder after this loon stalked him are seriously disgraceful. But hopefully jury will see what a liar he is- look how he & wife allegedly conspired to look poor for his bail. He has zero credibility.

I know your attorney put you up to the obligatory media apology but they're still going to haul your ass to prison for a long time.

There was nothing "emotional" about what he said. He's only saying what his attorney told him to say, you can tell he had been coached. His cold blank expression gives me the creeps. No matter what, there is no reason for Trayvon to have lost his life.

Hannity is a disgusting pig for even giving this guy a platform to speak. It's just as bad as letting Casey Anthony do an interview. I am so sick of the garbage on the TV. Why is this ok that he is speaking before his trial? He should be gag-ordered.
