Jason Kidd's Crash Car

The Mangled Wreckage

Jason Kidd's Wrecked Car
This is what happens when you drink and drive and crash into a light pole ... allegedly.

Jason Kidd was lucky to emerge from this 2010 Cadillac Escalade with his life after his early morning collision in the Hamptons on July 15. The photo was taken by our friends at the New York Daily News.

As we previously reported, Kidd was arrested for driving while intoxicated following the crash.

In the hours leading up to the crash, Kidd was partying at a club and appeared so drunk, he had to be carried out of the place.

For some reason, he got behind the wheel ... and drove into a telephone pole.

After the crash, Kidd's lawyer released a statement saying, "Jason has pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge and awaits further court proceedings."

Perhaps this is why so many strive to be celebrity actors, actresses, and sports figures. So, when they are clearly in the spotlight negatively, their one phone call is to an unethical Attorney who issues public statements likened to an Illusion from Magician, David Copperfield. AND YOU ALL BUY IT HOOK LINE AND SINKER. What if he'd hit another vehicle? A child? Lindsay Lohan's Porsche? Yikes!!!!

He pleaded not guilty because this isn't Kidd's first brush w/ Alcohol fueled car wrecks. He fled the first time and got away with it. Fool just got caught this time. *******. http://www.nytimes.com/1994/05/24/sports/sports-people-basketball-kidd-questioned-after-fleeing-car-crash.html

He either has the worst lawyer ever or he's not listening to his legal counsel's advice. This plea is going to bite him in the behind when it's time for the sentencing.

just a question... he was so drunk he had to be carried out of the Club. Who carried him and where did they put him? Why did they let him get behind the wheel of his car? Don't get me wrong, he is totally responsible; however, is there any responsibility for those who carried him out and let him get in the position of getting behind the wheel? Just asking

Huge plus, he didn't hit another vehicle, a home, a pedestrian. Yay! Him? He actually lived to ponder the whole thing. Got lucky. Cabs are definitely cheaper by far.

I promote all kinds of accidents by other people. This keeps the boy's at the body shop in business as the police force, Rescue teams and peolple at TMZ office in jobs with there tongues pressing against there cheeks trying not to laugh.. It's not like we are trying interchange Rectal thermometers for spark plugs here, so I do not see a problem for California body shops in this story ?. ( Speed bump ! )
