Katherine Jackson Case

Judge Orders Investigator To Interview Children

7/27/2012 11:54 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The judge in the Katherine Jackson case needs help deciding to whom he should award permanent guardianship of MJ's children -- so he's ordered an independent investigator to interview the kids ... and report back asap.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Judge Mitchell Beckloff has ordered a probate court investigator named Cary Ornelas to "prepare an investigation report addressing the status of the minor children and their currently suspended guardian, Katherine Jackson."

According to the court order, Ornelas has been authorized to interview the Jackson children at their school ... without notice.

Once completed, Ornelas' report will be submitted to the judge ... for his eyes only.

Michael Jackson's nephew TJ Jackson is currently the kids' temporary guardian, and he has already filed documents asking to make the guardianship permanent.

For her part -- Katherine says she has reached an agreement with TJ under which they will SPLIT guardianship of the kids.

I think the judge gets what's going on. He was very, very smart to remove Katherine as guardian, and this gives him a lot of room to decide what to do next. I find it laughable how Katherine has decided that she will now share custody and that she will control the allowance. What's laughable is that her children don't seem to understand that it's not up to her-- it's up to the judge. He may very well decide that it's no longer in the interest of MJs children for her to be the guardian any further. She will continue to receive support for the home she lives in and frankly she can probably get all that she actually requires, but I can see how the judge will conclude that TJ is the appropriate guardian and make him custodian of the monthly allowance. I can also imagine that the judge will take steps to make sure that money for MJs children are used for that purpose and not for anything else.

wihs that the world and the jackson family owuld stop referring to the younges child as "Blanket"
time ot leave the stupid nicknme behind before he gets stuk with it for the rest of his life!

Michael Jackson's children:are legally named
- Michael Joseph Jr (known as Prince b. 1997)
- Paris Michael Katherine (b. 1998)
- Prince Michael II (aka Blanket b. 2002)
Michael himself screwed it all up when he nicknamed the oldest Price and liked it so much that he named the second one Prince legally
and then to avoid the confusion he started he nicknamed the younger son Blanket- probably because he wads one of those babies/toddlers wh loved his "blankie"

Leave Mrs Jackson and her family alone every family has problems with problem family members and you or not important enough to be all over the airways allow them to be human with real human issues the only reason all of you care is because of their money so you too are just like the the family members you are accusing The Jacksons are a family unit and they will get through this situstion together

They all want his money and are all willing to kill their mother and steal it all from MJ's kids to get it.

Absolutely despicable behavior. But what else do you expect from ******s from Gary, Indiana?

How is it they get to renegotiate the terms of the "will" if Michael decided already what is to happen IF his mother could not care for his kids....THE BOSS, THE ONE AND ONLY DIANA ROSS! Not TJ and what makes him fit? Just curious! They are the the feuding Jacksons appear to be the crippling factor of their mother. Other than that, she appeared to be doing great by the children.
