Cuba Gooding Jr
. is no longer a wanted man in New Orleans -- this according to Cuba's rep, who tells TMZ, the actor's arrest warrant has been nixed after he met with police this morning.

TMZ broke the story ... an arrest warrant was issued for Cuba for allegedly roughing up a female bartender at The Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street early Tuesday morning after she asked him to leave.

The bartender told police Cuba had become irritated at several bar patrons for taking his photo and cussed 'em out.

Now Cuba's rep tells us, the actor has taken steps to resolve the situation -- saying, "There is no warrant. Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding."

Another "Star" who can buy his way out of a bind that he caused by putting his mitts on another person. Cuba's just like all the others.

In other words...Cuba gave the bartender a stack of cash. People need to stop acting all high and mighty. If Cuba roughed you up and threw some cash at you..you'd take the money and have a great story as to how you bought your new Lexus

Right. That's star-speak for "Cuba signed autographs and promised to let the cops hang out with him nest week. Misogyny is rampant in police departments. See these examples.

I live in N.O. What happened here happens every night in some bar anywhere. If the perp here wasn't a celebrity, nothing would be heard of it. This is b.s.!! And who can blame anyone for not wanting to pose for as many pictures as anyone wants everytime you stick your head out the door?? Again, B.S!!
