When I was a kid there was a talent show like american idol, x factor, americas got talent and all that other crap. It was called THE ((((( GONG )))) SHOW. Amazing how these chowderheads think they are the next Elvis. Isn't that right Taylor Hicks?!

Here's how to fix American Idol. First, get better singers. It wasn't that long ago that American Idol had lots of great singers. But the talent level has really gone down hill the last few years. Second, the judges have to be more critical. Don't just say that every performance is "amazing". And don't give someone a standing ovation unless they were really fantastic.

I stopped watching Idol several years ago when Taylor Hicks won. That was such a ridiculous choice, there was nothing left to watch.
