Packers T.J. Lang

Curses Out Refs

Dares NFL to Fine Him

9/25/2012 7:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Green Bay Packers
guard T.J. Lang must love throwing away money -- 'cause after last night's disastrous ending to the Packers-Seahawks game, he blasted the refs with a tweet that's gonna cost him a ton o' cheese.

In case you missed what EVERYONE is talking about ... Monday Night Football ended with the biggest blown call in NFL history -- the Packers intercepted a Seahawks Hail Mary pass in the endzone, but the replacement refs (unbelievably) said Seattle's Golden Tate simultaneously caught it ... thereby screwing the Packers.

Lang immediately hit up his Twitter page after the game, saying ... "Got f**ked by the refs.. Embarrassing. Thanks nfl"

Knowing full well that tweet would cost him ... Lang followed up with, "F**k it NFL.. Fine me and use the money to pay the regular refs."

No word yet from Commissioner Roger Goodell's office on just how much Lang will be fined -- it WILL be a lot.

But considering how badly the refs blew the call, we gotta ask ...

Calls like that are made ALL the time during rec ball. Football, basketball, soccer...you name it. More than once, the parents have to watch refs decide the game, not the kids.

What can we do about it? Nothing, we get kicked out or ban from the games.

I love how no ones b*tching about the holding & pass interference that was never called right before the touchdown pass. If they had been the Seahawks would of won anyways. FCUK THE PACKERS!! lol GO BEARS!!!

The NFL will never permit the refs to be spoken of/to that way, blown call or not. They don't want players to constantly go off on refs because one guy got away with it. They have a point on that one, but it's past time to get the real refs back on the field. Given how many millions the owners are taking in, they can afford to pay the refs.

TJ Lang and Bill Belichick have to hold hands and dance during half-time as a punishment.

These replacement refs have been screwing up calls all season thus far! It is frustrating for players when they are playing against the refs more than they are actually playing against the other team! We see bad calls all the time at the high school level with my son, and it gets frustrating! Just last week, there was an unsportsmanlike conduct call that should have been made against the other team...the player shoved our guy as he was getting up on our side line way after the whistle was blown, and right in front of the ref! Now, luckily, there was only about a minute left in the game, and the lack of calling the foul did not affect the outcome..but it was the principle of the matter!

That ridiculous play should of never have even come down to who had possession & who didn't have possession of the damn ball. If you look at the replay Golden Tate clearly commits offensive pass interference by pushing off the Green Bay defender in the end zone ( with the ref right there I might add). So if the referee would have just call Golden Tate for pass interference like he should then we wouldn't even be talking about " simultaneous control"

I don't watch but my husband does, Seems every game is turning into more a story about these bad calls. And they are game changing calls at that which really is screwing over everyone. As players and owners of teams I'd be beyond outraged. When you can watch something on TV and clearly see the mistakes, someone should be able to view it at the game and override these wanna be refs obviously bad calls.

The NFL is a bunch of guys on probation for one thing or another and could care less about rules and regulations on the field and off. Sure you can let it go, but then where does it stop, there needs to be some line, instead of all the gray area these guys play under.

What Lang said to the NFL sounds just like what I would say to the NFL! B*ST*RDS! The replacement refs are beyond an embarrassment! GO PACK!

Don't they automatically review all scoring plays? Wouldn't they have reversed it on review if he didn't catch it?

The bigger fine will go to Clay Matthews who published the commissioners phone number on Facebook so people could call in and complain.
