Kanye West

Returns from Twitter Hiatus

to Honor Steve Jobs

10/6/2012 5:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

1006-kanye-west-tweetsKanye West made a triumphant return to Twitter yesterday and did something very out of character for him ... pay his respects to someone else's accomplishments.

The rapper -- who made a dramatic exit from the site Thursday and deleted ALL his previous tweets -- came back a day later to honor the legacy of Apple founder Steve Jobs, who passed away one year ago.

Kanye compared Jobs' influence to three other famous people, tweeting, "He is one of the most inspiring and influential human beings of our existence along with Michael Jackson, Walt Disney and Dr. King."

So we gotta ask ...

one can't compare who was 'most' influential. Jobs (as well as Gates, Zuckerberg, google founders) all have changed the way we communicate. That's huge. Jobs wasn't necessary political or a huge contributor to 'charity, at least as far as we know. But he was for sure a creative genius! It wasn't about money..after a few hundred million, it's not about money anymore.

Michael changed music, his influence there was profound. He also never voiced his political views but was very atuned to the enviornnment before it was politically correct. He also gave mover $350+ MILLION dollars to charities, more then any other entertainer and continue to do so in death with his estate. He also was a huge voice in terms of equality. Jobs and MJ were friends, I believe Jobs wanted MJ to play at his wedding and MJ did.

Disney, also a creative genius..a huge fan of MJ's and Jobs too.

MLK, a fighter for equal rights.

All three of these influential genius died way too soon, two were killed, the other died from a horrible disease. Saddened by their early deaths.

All hoping are resting in peace. We should be grateful to them.

Micheal Jackson the disgusting pedophile? Seriously? The only influence he had was when he destroyed dozens of innocent childrens' self-esteem by molesting them.

Most around here are totally clueless about history. It's Walt Disney by a mile. He created a multi-billion dollar industry in addition to his own billion dollar company 80 years ago. It has touched everyone everywhere in some form.
