Y.U. Mad ...

'Cause I Bought a Palace

10/14/2012 4:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Music Mogul Birdman spent $14.5 mil in cash money for a Miami mansion the size of a Four Seasons.

The rapper -- who co-founded Cash Money Records -- bought the 19,000-sqaure-foot pad last month -- which sits on the ultra exclusive Palm Island.

The 9-bedroom, 17-bath palace is amazing -- 25-foot-ceilings ... a below ground pool ... an outdoor pool with cabana ... a theater, gym, spa area ... in-house massage room ... 100 feet of waterfront AND a private dock.

Ya know, for your awesome boat.

The mansion belonged to music producer Scott Storch until it was taken away from him in  foreclosure 2 years ago.  It was snatched up by the inventor of Rockstar energy drinks for $6.75 mil ... and then flipped to Birdman for a huge profit.

Oh the rich.  We hate them.

The "mine is bigger than yours" mentality gets these newbie millionaires in trouble faster than you can say "bankrupt". They start getting big dollars, fail to realistically plan for the future by careful saving and investing ... buy the huge expensive mansions and pricey exotic cars just to impress their peers ... and quickly watch their fortune disappear in these poor investments, bought strictly to impress their so called friends ... those leeches that will disappear as soon as the cash cow dries up.
50 cent realized this quickly after buying his huge mansion .. and knew this huge house was filled with people who weren't really his friends, and was a huge waste of his time and money. He got rid of those "friends" and put his house up for sale ... no because he had to, but because he realized that he didn't need or want some big flashy house that only attracted people that used him. He now likes to visit his Grandma in her modest house and stay in a small bedroom in her basement ... even though he can still afford that mansion, he learned before it was too late what really matters in life, and the people that really care about him no matter how much money he does or doesn't have.

Most of you people posting are a bunch of dummies. The house is over 19k square feet dummies. You can't see the whole house in this picture dummies. "It's not kid friendly. It looks like a mall. It looks like a funeral home". Blah blah blah. You better ask somebody. But then again, based on your comments, the people you hang around probably wouldn't know either. Try Google. It's free.
Jealous. And once again, dummies.

Big and ugly just like their cars, just like them. I'd rather be humble and love what I do have then forget where I came from. I'm on food stamps and going to school with government issued grants and I bet I have more self-respect that he does because even if I did have his money, I wouldn't have to buy my happiness in the form of mansions and cars.

Well, that's really a palace. It's funny that there are houses which cost just crazy money and it's hard to imagine. Celebrities do not need payday advance loan to buy a house, that's clear. But it's strange that a previous owner had faced foreclosured...It's hard to believe that musical produced had no money to buy a house for cash.

I bet the neighbors all laugh when some flashy entertainer or ball player moves in knowing at some point being flashy with new money never works out and even if he paid cash there is always upkeep, staff, and property taxes. I bet in less than five years he loses house
