2:30 PM PT -- So much for that. According to new reports, the NYC marathon will not take place this weekend as originally planned. It's unclear if it will be rescheduled, or if it has been canceled entirely.

Thousands are up in arms over Mayor Bloomberg's decision to move forward with the NYC marathon this weekend in the wake of Hurricane Sandy -- but NOT Ricky Martin!!!

Ricky was out in NYC earlier today when we asked for his thoughts on conducting the marathon when so many New Yorkers are still without power -- and some even without their homes -- and the singer replied, "The show must go on."

As for himself, Ricky says he's not suffering too much after the natural disaster, telling us, "Everything is fine. I live in a bunker. But it's horrible what's going on in New Jersey."

A native Puerto Rican, Ricky says he's used to tropical storms. Unfortunately, we wish we could say the same for the rest of the tri-state area.

Why are you people talking about his sexuality? The question asked was about the Marathon not about his sexuality.

Although, I agree the show should not go on people are with no electricity, no gas, etc. But than again the 1% only think about themselves.

I don't see how it can go on when you have a portion of the city still really struggling. The gas outages, electricity outages, no heat, no water, no food, people defecating in odd places because toilettes aren't working. On the flip side, let this be a lesson to people that you have GOT to be able to take care of yourself in a case like this. The government can only do so much. Electric companies can only repair so many lines a day. If there is a hurricane predicted your way, you have to have lots and lots of jug water. Lots of caned food, candles, matches, toilette paper, and a full tank of gas. Hurricanes, unlike tornadoes, are not surprises. People have advance notice. Use it. The government and other people can only do so much.

MORE "Government" Suppression -
This morning, I submitted a post at
Craigslist, Rant & Rave section, NYC:
"Bloomberg and other Powers-that-won't be".
In the post, I confronted Bloomberg, the Pharaoh of the "United" States, and other heartless, opportunistic politicians. In the posting, I also alluded to Mr. Harvey Levin, and TMZ.com. I have a copy of confirmation for the post, yet, like numerous other postings - it has been un-Constitutionally suppressed and never visible to the public.

About an hour after the "post", Bloomberg -finally-
showed some legitimate concern for the many suffering, and cancelled the foot-race.

Still: With The True and Living Yahweh as My Witness, these patently Fascist actions of Censorship and Suppression. SHALL RESULT IN SEVERE CONSEQUENCES.

Ricky Martin is a moron - I just watched the announcement that it's off, and it is absolutely sickening that the spokeswoman, Mary Wittenberg, was near tears as she announced it being off...What a selfish, shallow b""ch. On the other hand, she's got heat and lights, and her family members, from toddlers to elderly, are not dead in the water. Absolutely disgusting that it took five days to do this, but they sure as hell got the generators down there for the Big Race, didn't they?
