David Cassidy

GET OUT OF MY HOME!

EXCLUSIVE

1102-david-cassidy-tmz
David Cassidy  wants to exterminate his Florida home, but he's not on the hunt for bugs ... he wants his alleged deadbeat tenants out.

David and his wife filed an eviction lawsuit against a Nick and Anne Economos ... who currently lease the Cassidy's sunny Fort Lauderdale home.

The Cassidys claim Nick and Anne stopped paying rent in August and haven't paid a dime since.

Cassidy says back rent totals $10k as of the end of September and they've had it.

The Economoses defense is interesting. They claim they struck a deal with the lender that holds the mortgage to the property and that agreement provides they don't have to pay rent.

The Cassidys aren't buying it for a second and they want their dough and an empty house ... stat.

If the house in in foreclosure (redemption) and has been sold back to the mortgage company in a "Sheriff's Sale", then yes, the bank can negotiate rental terms with a tenant.

Ace - a bus? Good one. I knew a man years ago that owned alot of property & any time he had to find a new renter it worried him. He had been burned several times by people moving out while not paying or putting holes in the walls, that sort of thing. From what I've seen it really can be a problem.

The mortgage holder would have no say, a court would have to handle any default issues with ownership I would think

David, Get an attorney who handles evictions. Their butts will be out quicker than a New York minute. Then garnish their wages - if they're working now or in the future - and give them a bad credit report.
