Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter

Arrested After

Suspected Heroin Overdose

11/14/2012 8:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi
Jon Bon Jovi's 19-year-old daughter Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was arrested at her college in Upstate New York early this morning after allegedly overdosing on heroin ... TMZ has learned.

According to the Town of Kirkland Police Department, cops responded to a dorm room at Hamilton College after someone reported that Stephanie had allegedly overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive.

Along with police, emergency medical personnel also responded to the scene and found Stephanie alive.

Cops say a drug task force searched the scene and found a "small quantity" of heroin ... along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Stephanie was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia -- all misdemeanors.

Stephanie was eventually released from custody -- and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

Another student was also arrested -- a 21-year-old male -- who was also charged with drug possession.

Stephanie is Jon's only daughter -- and the oldest of his 4 children with wife Dorothea Hurley.

Bon Jovi should have spent more time with his daughter and less time kissing Obama's backside.

Well, when Barbara and Jenna Bush were 18 and 19 and out partying like ALL l8 and 19 year olds, NO drugs, they were heavily critized.
But JBJ daughter is on drugs and it's, "poor baby" and "why are you reporting this?"
You people are a bunch of hypocrites. These celebrities are getting what they sow, JBJ is a tax cheat and I'm sure it won't be the last of his kids that will be in the news about how screwed up they are. Meanwhile, Jenna and Barbara are wonderfully well adjusted young women.

Pretty girl..........get off the drugs. They lead nowhere, and life is too short to throw yours away on that CRAP!!! With all the money you were raised with, you think you'd appreciate how easy you have had it in life so far. You dad seems like a stand-up guy, and you parents, happily married. What possibly could have been so wrong with your life to lead you down THIS road?????!

Tragic. But raising teenagers on or near the NJ shore, no matter how much or little money you have is sketchy. The people are very strange, and a lot of bad stuff is happening there. It's just an effing weird place to live.

The Oneida County District Attorney's Office says that changes in NYS law in 2011 means that someone seeking medical assistance for an overdose can not be prosecuted for possession of heroin under 8 ounces, or any amount of marijuana. Therefore, D.A. Scott McNamara says he is dismissing all charges against Jon Bon Jovi's daughter and her classmate following yesterday's charges by Kirkland PD.

Been 19 and stupid myself. Had wonderful, tough love from my family and friends to get me back from the dark side Heroin is certainly not selective in its victims, targeting the rich and poor alike. Pray for this young woman...and her family. God Bless Stephanie Rose.
