EXCLUSIVE

1116-chamique-holdsclaw-court
WNBA legend Chamique Holdsclaw has been released from jail with a shiny new piece of jewelry -- an ankle monitor ... TMZ has learned.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office tells us ... Holdsclaw was released on $100k bond ... and ordered NOT to contact Jennifer Lacy ... after allegedly bashing the crap out of Lacy's car and firing a gun in the process.

According to the cops, Holdsclaw is now facing 2 counts of aggravated assault, 2 counts of damaging property and 1 count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Holdsclaw is scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 30.

As we previously reported, Holdsclaw -- one of the greatest female basketball players of all time -- was arrested in Georgia yesterday after allegedly following her ex-GF's car ... and smashing the holy hell out of it.

Sources tell TMZ ... Lacy -- who's also a WNBA player -- believes Holdsclaw was holding a grudge because Lacy broke up with her last year.

First thing, If you DO NOT care about lesbian and the WNBA, why would you even CLICK on the story to read it? Second, regardless of her being lesbian, black, or an athlete...she obviously has some real issues. All the ignorant comments are expected. I had to add at least one intelligent one. I don't give a flying **** about what happens with Lindsey Lohan or the Kardashians, but I love TMZ...soooo, I don't CLICK on the stories related to them on the website. Hmmm, makes sense?
