EXCLUSIVE

1215_Jenni-Rivera_funeral_gettyLatin music star Jenni Rivera will be laid to rest next week in Long Beach, CA ... and TMZ has learned Snoop Dogg, Gloria Estefan and Edward James Olmos were invited to be in attendance.

Rivera's camp tells TMZ ... Jenni had very specific plans for how she wanted her funeral to go down. We're told she wanted Vendela roses at the service, Bella Rosa roses to be buried with her, and she requested wanted butterflies released at the end of the service.

A public memorial will take place on Tuesday in Long Beach and a more private one on Wednesday.

As for the celebs invited to attend the private service on Wednesday ... Snoop and Jenni were set to do a song together before her untimely passing, Estefan was a longtime friend of Rivera's, and Olmos co-starred and produced her debut film, "Filly Brown."

Rivera and six others died early Sunday morning when their plane crashed in Mexico. Rivera was 43.

Her oldest daughter shouldn't be allowed to come after what she did to her mother but TMZ isn't telling that story..

any death is sad. What I don't get is why the media has covered this story so widely. She's just like Selena. She had a segment of the population that were very dedicated to her music, and the rest of the country had never heard of her until she was killed. Now it seems the media is pandering to that audience in a free for all.

sounds like a beautiful send off, but why would such a young woman be thinking about her death?

She was a very outspoken lady, whatever happened between her daughter and her, she took it to her grave. That is one aspect of her life that she did not clarify, people can speculate, but it really doesn`t matter to anyone but her daughter who will have to live that dark cloud over her. I do agree that.if she had so much money why would you try to be buying a plane that is over 30 years, had been in a previous accident, was been flown by a 78 year old pilot and a 20 year old copilot (first flight). By the way this was a free test flight, she was in negotiations. Durning her last concert one of her lasy songs was "the death of a diva" "la muerte de ina diva" that songs was dedicated to some fans that had died. In the songs she gives indications to her brothers, parents, musicians and others.
