Blake Griffin

Rollin' in $140K Benz ...

But WHERE's the Kia?

EXCLUSIVE

Blake Griffin escorted a hot blonde to his awesome ride -- totally fit for the superstar of the NBA's best team -- only issue is the car they got into ... is NOT made by the company paying Blake a fat endorsement deal.

The Los Angeles Clippers' human dunk machine slipped into a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG -- a pimp sled for sure, which retails for about $140,000.

However, anyone who's watched an NBA game this season has seen Blake's hysterical Kia Optima commercials where he travels back in time to tell his young self how awesome the Optima is.

Now, let's be real for a sec -- Blake just signed an estimated $95 million deal with the Clips ... so it would be shocking to see him squeeze into an Optima in real life.

Still, Kia is paying him to pump up their product. Think about it ... ever seen Michael Jordan in an Adidas track suit?

So, we gotta ask ...

Its very common for people to not drive what the advertise. Mike Rowe pushes Ford products, but he wouldn't be caught dead in one. He drives a Chevy Suburban. If he can get away with driving a direct competitor, then Blake can drive an AMG Mercedes instead of a tin can Kia.

Some of you Schmucks are missing the point. Obviously he can drive what he wants, but if you listen to the commercials he specifically states that's what he drives. There are commercials and then there are commercials with personal endorsement. Sounds like a bit of a lie....

Well, . . . currently, KIA doesn't offer a vehicle in the $100K and up category, . . . so, it's not really that big of an issue. If Blake had been driving something that was in direct competition with a KIA product, then I'm sure that a "red" flag could be raised.
The KIA Optima is a "very nice" car for its intended purpose, and a top of the line sport / luxury version stickers out at just under $40K. Supposedly, KIA is working on developing a higher end sportscar, so maybe the Benz will have to be garaged if and when that ever becomes available.
But for now, . . . no harm - no foul (pun intended).
GOOD TIMES.

Tiger Woods was driven to the golf course in a Buick. I've seen it when the cameras have shown Tiger coming to the course during golf broadcasts before. Not sure what he did in his personal life though.

Does KIA even build a sh!t box that he would be able to fit into? He looks 7' tall in the video and a Mercedes Benz S class is a big car. Rich ppl problems...

Jeez, you guys sure like to invent controversy. No, I never saw Jordan in an Adidas tracksuit, but then I also never say Jordan in a Nike tuxedo. Now, I have seen Jordan in a tuxedo, so the question is, why wasn't he wearing Nike clothing at that time?

Because Nike doesn't make tuxedos.

And Kia doesn't make ridiculously expensive ridiculously powerful ridiculously sized sports luxury cruisers, ya dumb-asses.
