N-Word in 'Django Unchained' -- You Be the Judge

When you get right down to it; if nobody including Blacks it could only be used in a degoratory way as it was intended in the first place. Nobody should use it. Now if the movie is historical then the word fits. Young and Old Blacks just confuse Whites by using the word at all. Then they are pissed when non-black use it to sound hip! Face it the more Blacks use it; the more Whites and non-whites will; period!

Many people (not all) who call themselves black need to grow up. I am so tired of hearing these ignorant people who continue to demonstrate their stupidity by spewing out the "N" word themselves, but when someone of a different so-called race uses it they become offended. I have three names given to me by my parents. My first, middle and surname. Any other names that someone else might want to call me are irrelevant and I do not respond to. If people don't want others to use the word, then they should not use it either. It astounds me that this conversation continues in this day and time. Spike Lee and etal (rappers, comedians,entertainers) are foolish hypocrites. They will do or say anything anything for a laugh, or to stir up controversy. It's a word that only has power to those who give it power. Katt Williams needs to focus on improving his own life and not worry about what others say. Clean your own house up! Duh! I have never considered myself to be a "N"and consider it when used by so-called black people to more offensive because I expect them to be more intelligent. Nevertheless, I have come to learn that that there are two types of "black" people. Those who have overcome and those who still don't understand what it means to overcome. So the ignorant continue to cry and blame others for the mess that they themselves perpetrate. As a free thinking, intelligent person I will not allow anyone, regardless of race or whatever people want to call themselves, to dictate to me who or what I am. And others, regardless of race should do the same. Wake up!
BTW I am not white nor black (neither one are races) I don't allow myself to be categorized or labeled to play into the system's game of keeping people of various races at odds against one another. We are all people and that's all that should matter.
