'Dallas' Star Larry Hagman

Swanky L.A. Beach Pad

... Up For Grabs

1/16/2013 3:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0115_larry_hagman_beach_house_sale_launch_v5Hey "Dallas" fans, get ready to break open your piggy banks ...'cause the L.A. penthouse iconic villain Larry Hagman called home ... officially hit the market for a cool $5.2 million.

Hagman -- who played the conniving J.R. Ewing on the show -- passed away in November ... and now his 3,029-square-foot ritzy beach pad has been listed by realtor David Solomon.

We're told it was the actor's primary residence at the time of his death.

The eclectic 2-bedroom condo is fit for a king ... it's one block from the beach and is rockin' panoramic ocean views, floor-to-ceiling windows, brightly colored interiors, a jacuzzi tub -- and a bedroom where the gold sheets match the wallpaper. Literally.

FYI -- Hagman's other residence is also for sale ... a massive 20,000-square-foot estate in Ojai, CA he bought back in 1987. It's listed for $6.5 million, but was on the market prior to his death.

If I had a spare 6.5 million and that was on the Delaware Bay or the Atlantic I'd buy it. Beautiful views.

It says "fit for a king." More like fit for a queen... a la Liberace.

Interesting to see LH had a room decorated to appear as if it belonged inside Jeanie's bottle. Nice views, decor outdated, doesn't matter at that lever it all get gutted and new owners will bring in their designers and decorator pros. View don't matter much after one lives with them daily.

JR Ewing Rest In Peace

I agree . . Larry Hagman was the man! Pimpin livin at the beach. The "busy" design of the sheets/walls hide the "shoots" and "loads". He was JR Ewing with his big cowboy hat. That dude bed a lot of ladies with his cowboy charm and that hat!. . .

Like the way Larry went out doing what he loved, acting, and playing the role of the greed bastahd JR, and doing it well.
Gotta love the separate beds, separate beds make a happy marriage; separate bedrooms make a lasting marriage ;)
