I Got Whitney

Hooked On Crack

Whitney Houston's brother says HE'S to blame for introducing the singer to drugs like crack cocaine back in the '80s ... not Bobby Brown ... and last night he came clean to Oprah.

Michael Houston sat down with his mother Cissy and spilled his guts to Her Royal O-ness on "Oprah's Next Chapter" ... admitting he was the first person who did drugs with Whitney.

Michael says he feels extremely guilty for Whitney's death -- but says he didn't realize how deadly drugs could be when he first brought them to Whitney's doorstep ... explaining, "You gotta understand at the time ... the '80s ... it was acceptable."

Houston adds, "It's painful ... I feel responsible for what I let go so far."

Whitney died in Beverly Hills last February after a drug binge that included cocaine, Xanax and marijuana.012913_houston_own

All this time Whitney speaking on God all the time and stuffing this mess down her throat, nose, where ever it goes and not think what this will do to her daughter who clearly seems to be on the same path. Her brothers are disgusting and why in the hell didn't Cissy knock all of them up side the head, who cares if the money goes, save your child, I rather have my daughter still living than the money if she was finacially taking care of her. This is pathetic on all their parts because they kept her supplied with it.

I watched the clip and the thing that I found more bizarre than anything was his mother's hand on the inside of his thigh. Kind of odd.

Uh, I was part of the 80's and dabbled in drugs but crack was never exceptable on any social level worth being a part of. It was always the lowest of the low drug you could use.

This "was the 80's " is a lame excuse not everyone in the 80's did drugs and if my son ever EVER brought drugs around my daughter i would beat the hell outta him.

For that matter she could have obtained it from a stranger and tried it alone the first time... many do.

Whitney was her own self and she could have said no. But she and Bobby were not met for each other. Bobby was arrested in 1988 for drugs, so Bobby isn't that innocent either. Instead of trying to help her get off drugs he was doing it with her.

People need to understand that Whitney was not the saint people made her out to be. We all know that Whitney was taking drugs way before she even met Bobby. What's so pathetic about this is that instead of owning up to her own faults and demons, she essentially let the public and her family continue to think that Bobby was the cause of her downfall when the only cause was herself. I also feel like no one can make anyone do drugs. You can introduce them to drugs but its their own choice whether they take them or not. Whitney knew the risks. She was not dumb. Like many people, she took them anyway, and she paid the ultimate price. Also in regards to the : "it was the 80s, everyone did it" thing. That was indeed true. A large majority of the stars were hooked on cocaine/crack back then. That's simply a fact. No one viewed it to be as dangerous as it was. It was just a common thing in that scene.

Also, he said he introduced her to drugs; not crack specifically. Stop misleading your viewers.
