TN State Senator

Homosexuality Is Dangerous

2/1/2013 2:50 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Tennessee State Senator Stacey Campfield (R-Knoxville) has a message to the gay community -- stop ramming the gay agenda "down everybody's throats" and leave the straight people alone!!!

Sen. Campfield just called in to "TMZ Live" to talk about the strongly-worded email he sent to a pro-gay voter ... who had objected to a bill Campfield recently reintroduced to the Tennessee General Assembly.

During the call, Campfield insists he doesn't hate gay people -- he just doesn't believe students from kindergarten through 8th grade should discuss ANYTHING gay related.

Among the highlights:
-- Campfield says the people in the gay rights community are "the biggest bullies in the world."

-- Campfield says comparing the gay rights movement to the African American civil rights movement is "insulting to the civil rights movement of the black people."

-- Campfield says he wishes the gay community would just leave the straight people alone ... saying, "We don't wanna hear about it every day ... quit trying to ram it down everybody's throats ... and quit pushing it on everyone. Just leave us alone."

Some people in the newsroom disagreed with the State Senator's views ... check out the video.

How about stupid Christian missionaries stop trying to shove their beliefs and views down everyone elses throats first! Homosexuality is only dangerous to those who believe the Bible is a book of laws.

If that were the case, then we are breaking God's laws of not stoning non-virgins, shopping on Sundays, and passing judgment on everyone who acts, thinks, lives, or looks different then us.

For those of you who vote morons like this into office, you should be ashamed. Ashamed that a judgmental koch like him represents YOU.

Famously outspoken, Ed Koch was never at a loss for words — except when it came to his personal life.

Long rumored to be gay, Koch insisted his sex life was nobody’s business and for decades shut down prying queries with a withering “F--k off.”

“Whether I am straight or gay or bisexual is nobody’s business but my own,” the colorful three-term mayor wrote in his 1992 biography, “Citizen Koch.”

Sometimes when politicians speak out strongly against homosexuality....they turn out to be living in the closet themselves. History has proven that more often than not. Times are changing and idiots like this one should either roll with it or shut the fck up!

Bickering and hatred for your neighbors is the reason America has declined so rapidly over the last decade, the unity that once kept America relatively intact has eroded to the point where people peer disgustingly down their noses at anyone who disagrees with them and that means Democrats and Republicans.

Hey the dude is right. because you made life decisions doesn't mean that the government or the people have to support you. Homosexuality and Homosexuals have and must have equal rights with hetrosexuals, however marriage isn't a right. adoption is a right. these things are not guaranteed to you by anyone. You think the lifestyle you live is ok because you live is as do heroine addicts and criminals but it DOES NOT MAKE IT SO. you have the full right to be gay but marriage and kids are something your on your own with.

It's beyond me that there are straight people who are so scared that Homosexuality will be the end of Heterosexuality. They are afraid that if we get married it will "somehow" destroy the marriages of straight people. I think if it is SOOOO important to stop gay marriage "why" isn't there some straight organizations pushing a “constitutional ban” on DIVORCE. The ability for straight people to say "Oh never mind my marriage isn't working out so I will end it" is 1000 times more destructive then gay marriage would ever accomplish. It people like this BOZO who should just move on with thing that are going on in the country like financial stability, education and other MUCH more important things...

he was elected? that guy's nuts. granted, it wasn't a fair debate as some people are commenting on here (Majestik). but I think he called in and asked to talk, not personally invited. and he's pushing his personal views on people, eventhough he says others are pushing their views on him. really dude? such a hypocrite. word advice dude: shut up, leave your personal views at home and do your job.

if our tax dollars are paying for his salary, then he really needs to shut the hell up.

He's right. In 2012 the CDC reported an HI.V. infection rate of 30,000 in the US alone. Not to mention many homosexual men end up in diapers in their 60's due to prolapsed rectums. I guess they never cover those facts in the sitcoms glamorizing this deadly and unhealthy lifestyle.

I must say that I am horrified at the large percentage of people making nasty mean spirited comments. I honestly had no idea that so many people still felt such negative feelings towards gay people.

I am very ashamed of all of those people. My only hope is that these people are poorly educated and informed which can of course be changed.

Homosexuality is not a choice. Check the science people. Gay people do not hurt anyone by being homosexual or through their actions.

I feel very proud of of my fellow Aussies. Sure we have a few wacko crazies but the great bulk of the population would find these negative comments ugly and offensive.
