TN State Senator

Homosexuality Is Dangerous

2/1/2013 2:50 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Tennessee State Senator Stacey Campfield (R-Knoxville) has a message to the gay community -- stop ramming the gay agenda "down everybody's throats" and leave the straight people alone!!!

Sen. Campfield just called in to "TMZ Live" to talk about the strongly-worded email he sent to a pro-gay voter ... who had objected to a bill Campfield recently reintroduced to the Tennessee General Assembly.

During the call, Campfield insists he doesn't hate gay people -- he just doesn't believe students from kindergarten through 8th grade should discuss ANYTHING gay related.

Among the highlights:
-- Campfield says the people in the gay rights community are "the biggest bullies in the world."

-- Campfield says comparing the gay rights movement to the African American civil rights movement is "insulting to the civil rights movement of the black people."

-- Campfield says he wishes the gay community would just leave the straight people alone ... saying, "We don't wanna hear about it every day ... quit trying to ram it down everybody's throats ... and quit pushing it on everyone. Just leave us alone."

Some people in the newsroom disagreed with the State Senator's views ... check out the video.

It is really great to read other comments saying how sick and tired others aside from myself have become with the gays crying, and whining, and bitching, and complaining, about anything and everything to no end!
Whatever the gays want, they have become a hemroid that wont go away.

It's time for people to grow the hell up. Stop crying cause somebody says something. If you are gay why would you give a rats as$ what a straight guy thinks, you don't like the way he thinks so why do you care if he aggres with your way of thinking. The victim card is old throw it away, just go on with your life build a bridge and get over it or jump off.

I know I'll get slammed, but I agree with everything he said. There is a bullying gay agenda. If people do not agree with the lifestyle it doesn't mean they hate gay people. Morally it is wrong, my opinion. Also, TV tries to shove, and I mean shove it down your throat. I can't stand watching TV. Haters start hating!

Learn who the real bullies in society are by observing a truly strong and intelligent woman:

Being gay is not a handicap. It is not a physical or mental impairment. It is merely a sexual preference. Sex lives do not need to be considered as having rights or special privilege. Gay people can not reproduce because it is not a natural occurrence to become pregnant and bear children when two people of the same sex mate. While I'm not going to go into morals and all that I'm just stating a fact. No one can expect society to overlook the fact that some things that people do with their sex organs goes against human nature. Sure, we as a society have become tolerable, but being pressured into acceptance isn't going to work. Just saying.

Right or wrong, that's his opinion. Everyone talks about freedom of speech, yet because he's against the gay lifestyle and states it he's a horrible person. Why do we all have to bow down to a group of people without saying how we feel? I get that a large portion of people will be down on this guy and demand that he is banished from working in public. But what are people who have the same opinion as him supposed to do. Keep it under cover and hide your feelings. It's the same as being gay and not coming out. I also get that TMZ and their gay agenda will bash anyone who disagrees with their lifestyle, wich is in a way a form of bullying. So that being said, I have a lot of gay friends and always wish them well, but I also believe that everyone has a right to their opinion, no matter how unpopular it is.

Gays are like the little yippy dog in the neighborhood that wont wont quit yipping. You can throw the dog a bone, and it will keep the dog quiet for a little while, then the dog starts yipping again, at anything, and everything.
Unfortunately you cant call the police or animal control on the gays, because they will be yipping till kingdom come!

"We don't wanna hear about it every day ... quit trying to ram it down everybody's throats ... and quit pushing it on everyone. Just leave us alone."

AMEN to that. Go be gay and shup up about it already, and if you don't like being looked down upon by the rest of us then stop parading around in the streets with rainbows, thongs, and glitter coming out of every orifice of your bodies and expecting RESPECT from others. That is my wish for the gay community, that and for them to start behaving like GROWN ADULTS as a collective and cease the mindless harpy-esque bullying and bashing of others.

UNmarried in his 40s??... HELLO, Closet Case.

really! really?

It's not his beliefs that I have a problem with, it's the fact that he insinuated that one of his constituents had mental issues just because their opinion differed from his own. Be kind... to everyone.
