My Dead Bunny Is Back ...

Stuffed!

Adorable "Toddlers & Tiaras" star Paisley Dickey is having the best week ever ... because after 5 looong months ... she finally has her mummified bunny back!!!

Paisley -- best known for wearing that Julia Roberts hooker outfit on the TLC show -- lost her pet rabbit Bun Bun last September to a heart attack ... after an unfortunate balloon-popping incident.

Heartbroken Paisley asked to get the bunny stuffed and her parents took it to a taxidermist in GA. It's unclear WHY the process took so long, but after months of anticipation, we finally have pics of the results.

It's clear from the photos ... Paisley couldn't be happier with Bun Bun's undying presence.

Why does this sound so familiar?

You're seriously asking why taxidermy took so look? Dahhh! It takes a looong time to do. If its a bear or a rat there is a lengthy process.

I know the Kardashians are ruling TMZ but are they also doing the writing: "My Dead is Bunny Back...
"???

Much taxidermy today uses freeze drying. That could entail a period of time.

Hum... Get the kid a puppy. This is creepy playing with dead pet statues. Its even creepier this kid knew about it to ask for it. Most little girls would not be around a dead fly. Next Grandpa will kick the bucket and she will want to prop him up at the dinner table!

"It's unclear why it took so long". That is what you said. Obviously no one in the TMZ office has any clue about taxidermy or hunting for that matter. 5 months is a relatively SHORT amount of time. Compare it to having a deer done; the time can take between 6 to 20 months. Out west here where taxidermist are overrun with deer, elk and antelope all at the same time it takes an average of 18 months to get your deer or elk back. So I would say 5 months was a pretty good turn around time.
