Honey Boo Boo

Girl Scouts SHUT DOWN

Online Cookie Campaign

Honey Boo Boo
hawking Girl Scout cookies to her hundreds of thousands of fans online is UNFAIR ... so says a rep for the Girl Scouts of the USA, so the organization shut down her campaign.

HBB posted the ad on her Facebook page -- which has 701,000 likes.  She also got in the girl scouts' faces by posting pictures of stacks of boxes that she sold.  FYI ... she's not selling the cookies for herself ... she's doing it for a friend.

It didn't go down well with the organization.  A rep for GSUSA in Georgia tells TMZ ... they contacted her site's administrator and explained online selling is off-limits, because it defeats the whole purpose of selling the cookies -- to teach girls all sorts of things, including goal setting, people skills, etc.

So HBB's people took down the ads, but get this ... the sales she's already made will be counted.

If HBB wants to help her friend, she's gotta stand outside a whole bunch of Piggly Wigglys.

Too many people are already fat enough in this country. Selling them online is really lazy. That HBB kid is a fat little oinker and this "show" is trash. Do we need to elevate white trash to fame???

Congrats to the writer of this story. First time I've seen the appropriate word (HAWKING) used. Usually the lame writers use hocking, which means something totally different. Oh yeah, GS cookies online -- big no no.

Girl Scouts is about helping young girls?
Here I thought it was about using little girls for child labor to make loads of money for the greedy.
Who knew?

I think it should be the way it always has been: Door-to-door. NOT getting mommy or daddy to sell them at work or setting up a sales-point outside of a grocery store.

I say SCREW the Girl scouts organization. Its 2013 and NOT safe for any little girls to peddle their cookies door to door like 50 years ago. And whats this crap about not letting anyone else sell them for You? Everything we ever sold as kids would have been a total flop without Mom and Dads guilting friends coworkers and family member into forking over their donations. Its time to do it all online. And whats this $3.50 a box BS? Here in Calif those little girls are hitting me for $4.00 a box! I think maybe they are cookie profiling Me!

We had to go door-to-door. I think that standing outside a supermarket is not exactly teaching the girls anything. It is like a homeless guy trying to guilt you into putting something in his cup. Go do the leg work girls. (Plus you can work off the weight you gained from eating the cookies.)

Are they even allowed to do door to door any more. A lot of places ban you from door to door solicitation. People are so unfriendly any more. I think maybe back in the eighties was the last time kids were going door to door.

Kids used to deliver the newspapers from off their bikes or from walking the neighborhood with a wagon or bag. Now adults do that also in their cars. Kids don't get to do much of anything but sit around and eat or something.

FREE THE CHILDREN. GET THE ADULTS OUT OF THE COOKIE SALES.

Let go of the hate. The Girl Scouts need money from the sale of the cookies, does it matter who helps? How about Harvey Levin's Radish Flavored Cookies. Wouldn't he look cute in a GS uniform?

my daughter was pushed out of the Girl Scouts because she creates an online petition to stop them from throwing away cookies at the end of cookie season. http://causes.com/girlscoutspetition

Meh, I remember having to hawk that crap to mom's co-worker's or my next door neighbors and pray that some other kid didn't get there first.

If I would have had the internet, damn right I'd have done that.
