Mama June & Honey Boo Boo

You Can't Stop Us from Selling Girl Scout Cookies!!!

EXCLUSIVE

Mama June
and Honey Boo Boo are going full steam ahead with their Girl Scout cookie campaign ... despite stern warnings from the Girl Scout organization.

As we reported, the Girl Scouts of the USA contacted HBB today to remove a banner she had put on her Facebook, in which she solicited sales for Girl Scout cookies from her 700,000 fans. (FYI -- HBB's not even a Girl Scout. She just agreed to help a Girl Scout friend of hers.)

A rep for the GSUSA told us they had the banner removed because it was unfair to other Girl Scouts trying to sell cookies.

But Mama June tells TMZ, she's going to continue selling Girl Scout cookies any way she can ... even if she's not allowed to post advertisements on HBB's Facebook ... because it's for a family friend.

June tells us, "If I can raise more money for a troop, whoever they are, especially in an area where they don’t get a lot of money, and parents can’t afford to buy a ton of cookies, why wouldn't I help?"

She added, "We're doing nothing wrong."

June says she's already sold 400 boxes and the orders keep pouring in.

The GSUSA is a great organization that helps to produce strong, well-rounded (no pun because of these pieces of trash) women. In a lot of areas, dare I think in most areas where there are active troops there are simply average people. This is the largest fundraiser for troops and helps fund camping trips, and other experiences for the girls. The Boo Boo troop could probably go to Hawaii while troops who are underserved are lucky to get decent camping trip out of it. Maybe they should spread the wealth to some of the troops who try so hard to foster self esteem in girls who are in underserved areas.

Too bad. I would have ordered a few boxes.

The Girl Scouts threw away thousands of unsold cookies last year which I find funny because I almost always have trouble finding anyone selling them. I bet I'm not the only one.

If the point of the cookie sales is to teach the girls various values, work ethics, etc., hence a scout cannot use her more famous friend's facebook page to promote sales because that's not teaching the scout about values and work ethics....how is it OK with the GSUSA that the scouts don't sell their own cookies anymore, their moms and dads do it all? I've not been contacted by a single scout in YEARS to buy cookies, but I do get calls and texts from their parents and sign-up sheets passed around the office. Then when its time to collect money and deliver cookies, guess who's doing the delivering and collecting...yep, mom and dad. how is that teaching values and work ethics? its a fund-raiser guys--the point is to make as much money as possible. that's why they sit outside the stores and coffee shops, that's why the GSUSA licenses its flavors and logo out to ice cream companies, I expect soon they'll be available right in the grocery aisles.

Sorry but the GSA do own the rights to who sells their cookies. If Mrs. Boo-Boo thinks she can't be stopped from selling the cookies she is very misguided. The GSA council controls and provides guidelines where and how their products may be sold by the girls. Is Honey even old enough to be a Daisy, the youngest category of GS? If she's not a GSA why is she selling cookies at all? GSA offers girls and women lots of opportunities but they also have regulations and guidelines that protect their image and products.

I'm a proud GS & so is my daughter. This is how it is, right now cookie sales are over. So all the money is suppose to be in the bank. Thats the reason its only 3.50 because all that money goes to that specific troop. I don't find anything wrong with it, but her friend should do the work. At least have a picture with her friend. Girl scouts is about sisterhood and learning to be an independent woman. She should become a daisy if she feels so strongly about it. Having online cookie sales is not allowed for this very reason, but we do sell many more products online. The money goes to the council and troop.

The cookies suck, and times are so different now. The GSA should use Facebook, Twitter and any other means needed to sell the cookies. It's also more dangerous these days for a young girl to go from door to door to peddle cookies. Leave HBB and MsJune do what they want. It's for a good cause! Dayam....
