Mama June & Honey Boo Boo

You Can't Stop Us from Selling Girl Scout Cookies!!!

2/28/2013 2:00 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Mama June
and Honey Boo Boo are going full steam ahead with their Girl Scout cookie campaign ... despite stern warnings from the Girl Scout organization.

As we reported, the Girl Scouts of the USA contacted HBB today to remove a banner she had put on her Facebook, in which she solicited sales for Girl Scout cookies from her 700,000 fans. (FYI -- HBB's not even a Girl Scout. She just agreed to help a Girl Scout friend of hers.)

A rep for the GSUSA told us they had the banner removed because it was unfair to other Girl Scouts trying to sell cookies.

But Mama June tells TMZ, she's going to continue selling Girl Scout cookies any way she can ... even if she's not allowed to post advertisements on HBB's Facebook ... because it's for a family friend.

June tells us, "If I can raise more money for a troop, whoever they are, especially in an area where they don’t get a lot of money, and parents can’t afford to buy a ton of cookies, why wouldn't I help?"

She added, "We're doing nothing wrong."

June says she's already sold 400 boxes and the orders keep pouring in.

This story is hysterical. America has officially gone to **** when we are having a national discussion about Honey Boo Boo's throw down with The Girl Scouts. Wow, really? Smdh

Even after having to remove the banner from FB, websites like TMZ will now post it, and those orders will continue to roll in.

To me it looks like these two have eaten too many of those Girl Scout cookies. What kind of people watch this stupid show on TV? Since when did being fat and stupid become talent?

The same people mocking them about their weight are likely people with beer guts and muffin tops or those that feel it's "cool" to mock heavy people. That or it's just jealous people wishing they had even half of the income they make and want to feel better about themselves by mocking a kid and her mom doing something kind for someone. You may not like them but what they're doing is better than all of the mishaps and stupid things some celebrities and reality stars have done this week. I don't like a lot of the things they do, but they appear to be a close family that cares about each other and that's a lot considering how messed up some of the other reality families are.

Ya know, I actually think that's pretty cool ... she's got a point about living in an area that's economically challenged, and ultimately it'll help out a troop of scouts that wouldn't normally get to reap the benefits of raising funds.

Personally, I pretty much stumbled upon this show that everybody has been hoopin and hollering about and I can't believe what I saw. These people are so damn disfunctional that it's ridiculous to even have this kind of trash on television.

Technically, HBB should not be selling cookies if she is not a registered Girl Scout. The whole situation is ridiculous. If they really wanted to help, raise money for the troop or the council in their area. The girls only end up getting something around $.45 a box. There are so many other ways to help raise money for these girls.

personally i HATE that show! as much as the antics and embarrassing behavior of hbb annoys me (well actually i lasted for only 1 and a half shows because of it)i try to understand that hbb is a child and that the full blame falls on the parents for her and their idiocy. however i also understand the want to help the GS's. also i can understand the want of the GS's to keep the hbb show/family as far removed from the good name of the Girl Scouts as possible. i just wonder what that little girl will think of herself / family when she is a teen / adult....

I say let them sell the cookies!! I have one in pathfinder(girl scouts)the money help fund camp and trips for the girls. The more money they raise the less each individual girl has to pay for these activities. What is the harm. Its money going to the organization.

Girl Scouts lost my respect years ago when parents started selling their daughters cookies for them. It used to be about representation of you troop and EARNING your way to camp or activies. March forth Honey Boo Boo and June Mama! At least you are doing it for a good cause!
