"Thrift Shop" rapper Macklemore is still looking for a come-up ... because Friday morning he caught a flight on America's favorite bargain airline Southwest ... and TMZ has the pic.
Mack -- real name Ben Haggerty -- boarded the discount flight from Burbank to Las Vegas stuntin' in dark shades, a black jacket, and a hoodie ... and he looked incredible.
We're not judging, but it's always pretty incredible to see famous people on Southwest ... guy really lives up to his reputation.
Now THAT'S a cold ass honkey.

Ah, for the record, Southwest is NOT a "discount" airline! There is no route they fly that is cheaper than other airlines. Zero. It's all a publicity scam that worked on the American people. In fact, on many routes they are actually way higher than other airlines. Plus, you don't get a freaking assigned seat, it's a cattle call. AND, they fly outdated airplanes where you have to make all these extra stops because they have to keep adding people to fill them up. Southwest is the biggest scam in travel, and TMZ fell for it. Just do a search on a random flight and compare airlines. Southwest will NEVER be the lowest!

I have flown 8 times since October on Southwest. They are always cheaper than other airlines. I just paid 147.00 to fly from LA to Boston on Southwest and never had to change planes. Try to beat that price.

Around 1998 or so I was taking a flight from Burbank to Las Vegas and while waiting in the boarding area I waited with non other then Johnny Mathis ! Also watched him read the Enquierer LOL Talked with him briefly. Made my weekend :) Nice Man. Love Southwest!
