UFC Fighters Are NOT Violent People ... Outside the Ring

Vantris Patterson
is dead wrong ... the UFC does NOT transform athletes like Phil Davis into violent people outside of the octagon ... this according to UFC honcho Dana White.

White just called in to "TMZ Live" to take on the allegations Davis' baby mama made in her nasty custody battle with the UFC fighter -- that the sport has turned him into a monster.

"Phil Davis ... we've never had problems with this guy EVER," White said ... "He's one of the nicest guys I've ever met."

White says he has hundreds of guys who fight under the UFC banner -- and barely ANY of them have issues with violence after the bell rings.

His explanation -- "When you train, every day all day ... the last thing you wanna do is fight outside the octagon."

So why would Patterson make such outrageous allegations? White believes he's got the answer to that too ... check out the clip.

I honestly believe Phil n Dana. Especially since this woman has flip flopped morethan lil weezy on sizzurp.I've had the oppurtunity to work at a gym where several mma and ufc fighters train in nyc, and I've NEVER ONCE heard them being rude to anyone, not their sparring partners, coaches, staff or women. Not even a sexual explicit comment. What a lot of ppl don't realize about MMA is that a lot of it is based upon martial arts, which teaches the first rule of defense is to walk away from a fight and always respect ur oppenent in a match. The only reason these guys even trash talk is to hype the event and garner attention. Now that's not to say there aren't a few bad apples out the bunch, but I don't know that Phil Davis is one of them...there's usually a history of violence and this is the first time I remember hearing his name involved with anything violent other than sanctioned matches. Also the timing of the allegations...very suspicious. Jmo
