NBA Star Nick Young

Sued for Sexual Assault

He Drugged Me, Then Raped Me

A woman is suing Philadelphia 76ers star Nick Young for sexual assault -- claiming he roofied her back in 2011 ... took her to his place and then raped her.

The woman filed the lawsuit anonymously under the name Jane Doe, claiming she ran into Young at Crown Bar in West Hollywood ... and he bought her and her friend champagne.

According to the suit, the woman's recollection of the evening ceased shortly after she downed the drink ... and she believes it's because Young had slipped the date rape drug gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) into it.

The woman claims she woke up the next morning in Young's bed, bleeding from her vagina and rectum.

She says Young admitted to having sex with her the night before, but claimed he stopped because she passed out.

According to the suit, the woman demanded to be taken home by Young -- he obliged -- and she beelined for the UCLA Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center, where she took a rape kit and was tested for STDs. She claims a test at the center confirmed she had been drugged, and determined the injuries to her vagina and rectum were consistent with rape.

Following the hospital treatment, the woman says she's continued to undergo psychiatric evaluations.

She's suing Young for sexual battery, sexual assault, false imprisonment, and more -- demanding unspecified damages. She's also suing Crown Bar for negligence.

Im horrified at the info. I believe her story will be backed up by friend who was present. I do not know if the bar is really in any liable state because it was not the bar ill intent, nor hidden motive or agenda to have such acts committed against her. Damn-just so disgusting for women to hear acts like this exist-and I hope it is not some retaliation tactic. Everything on paper will be supported by date, and place.

I might be able to buy her story, two years after the fact, if she weren't also trying to sue the bar. In essence she's raping the owners of the bar. How were they negligent? She meets a strange man...allows him to buy her a drink...doesn't pay any attention to him as he gets the drink and slips her the drug....and now its the fault of the bar that he took her to his place (or hers) and allegedly raped her? Where were her friends?

Whatever happened to empowering women? They seem to abandon all sense of logic, reason, and caution and dive head-first into victim-hood the minute a man offers to buy them a drink. What kind of dude did she think was hitting on her in a Hollywood bar? A man of the cloth? A boy scout?

GHB is not Rohypnol therefore she wasn't roofied. It's amazing how false or little education people receive regarding substances. Maybe he raped her or maybe she wants a check, either way she made a poor decision. Her suit against the bar makes it seem like she is out for a check.

Why is she suing the club exactly? He bought her a drink and she was stupid enough to accept consume a drink from a stranger. That would be like suing Ford because your kidnapper drove a Focus.

These guys have women throwing themselves at them left and right. Why would he need to this? Plus why did she wait so long, not go to the police, and is now suing to get some money? Sounds like BS to me.

This is a classic set up, extortion. If this happened, she needed to call the cops that night/day. Not file a lawsuit 2 yrs after it happened. No sale.

There are many stories about people who are powerful, wealthy, famous, etc who commit rape when they have other willing options. It's not unusual at all.

If she went to UCLA as she claims, then they have the rape kit w/DNA, the lab results to prove she was drugged as well as the physical exam by medical personnel. The hospital is also required by law to report the rape to law enforcement. California statue of limitations on rape is 6 years. So I dont understand why charges have not been filed........something sounds fishy here!! This sounds like its ALL about the money!!

People who perceive themselves as powerful are dangerous if they lack morality. If he did this crime, he deserves to get punished and she deserves restitution. Gross story..beware ladies.

this occurred in 2011? and she is just suing now? I wonder why there was such a big time delay. and why no police report? if he raped someone, he should have been doing time already!

I sincerely hope this isn't a case of false accusations. I know that sounds HORRIBLE but it sickens me to think women use something as terrible as rape as an excuse for a pay day makes me lose all hope in my gender. People are raped everyday and treated like liars bc of women who do things like this.

Hard to believe that this is what passes for 'morals' in the NBA. Players have a different 'port' in every town.

And they question whether Jason Collins is as morally straight as they are.

What duplicitous horse manure.....
