-- FYI, Paula just yanked the video apology from her YouTube channel.

gray-bar-update
Paula Deen
continues to step in it, and we know part of the problem is that her team doesn't have a clue.

She just issued a weird, video apology with an edit after almost every sentence.  It's as if some publicist is feeding her lines that she has trouble delivering.

Rather than explaining why she used the N-word in the past -- something she might have been able to explain given her background -- she's just begging for forgiveness.  It feels like it's coming from a bunch of suits, and not from her heart.  Huge miss.

Sources connected with Deen tell TMZ ... this was an apology produced by committee -- a committee of lawyers, publicists and other managers who don't understand the meaning of the word "apology."  They've strung a bunch of words together that make Deen look pathetic ... throwing herself at the mercy of the court of public opinion.

It's sad.

Sometimes it's better to just let things blow over. Something LeAnn Rimes doesn't get, either.

Oh brother. She has no clue why she's sorry. Asking forgiveness when there is no realization of the wrong committed is ridiculous.

Just stop. It's making it worse. You're an a-hole and that's all there is to it. Apologize for your recipes too, while you're at it. Hope the public speaks by boycotting her.

I'm certainly no fan of hers, but TMZ does realize that the person who filed the suit - the suit that started all this - is white, right? Yes, it's a white person suing a white person for racial discrimination. I'm not excusing racial slurs, but TMZ likes to twist things and leave out parts of the real story.

She no-showed on the Today Show. She didn't want to stick her foot in her mouth any further, which is easy for an inbred hillbilly to do. I hope this means I don't have to hear that ridiculous, fake laugh of hers ever again. I would rather be strapped to a chair and hear Rachael Ray over talk her guests all day and make truly outrageous nasty food on TV 24/7. How can you seriously eat a 7-layer hotdog with stuff like mushrooms, liver guts, and macaroni and cheese. Only Rachael can turn an ordinarily good dish into hog crap.

it's okay paula, you're just not saying the way a wigga would say it. and also put the word 'my' in front of it. then that would make it acceptable.

This is so ridiculous. White people just need to let people call them a racist and then move on with their lives. Nothing you can say would ever appease the mobs who want to impose thought control on all of us. As long as she hasn't called someone a slur recently or used slurs in professional settings, what's the big deal?
