Tom Morello

I'll Pay to Keep

Snowden in Hiding

Tom Morello's so pissed about the worldwide search for Edward Snowden that he's willing to foot the bill to help the man behind the NSA leaks escape the U.S. government.

We brought up the Snowden scandal to Rage Against the Machine's guitarist last night ... and he absolutely unloaded on the Obama administration, and recommended Snowden -- who's been charged with espionage and theft of government property -- never return to the U.S.

Morello explained, "I think he should live a happy life in Ecuador. That's what I think. I think he's a hero."

He added, "He exposed the crimes of the government. That we're all being spied on. all the time by the Obama administration? If anybody deserves to be in jail ... it's not Snowden."

Tom goes on to say he'll personally pay for Snowden's flight to South America -- and you've gotta hear his choice words for President Obama and his emails soliciting money.

Agree or disagree with him -- the guy is passionate.

So tell me, what does everyone think of Bradley Manning? The whistleblower that exposed the government for there merciless slaughter of unarmed civilians in Iraq? Is he also "Anti-American"? Edward Snowden is no different, he is a hero for exposing our corrupt government.
Also, stopping blaming Obama or Bush and start blaming Obama and Bush and all the corporations and bankers in which they represent.

Maybe I'm not too informed, but how exactly is Snowden a traitor? Maybe he is a traitor to our Government, but certainly not a traitor to the people.

**** this dirty little 'always wearing a baseball hat' bitch. Isn't it funny when little bitches like Tom Morello have so much **** to talk about this country all the while reaping the benefits of such a terrible place. How ****ing dare this little undercover capitalist bitch talk ANY **** about a place that made his retarded ugly ass rich? He is nothing but ****.

The only sad this about this video is the guy who was asking the questions. Very embarrassing how uneducated he was. From now on he should just be holding the camera and someone else, with an education, should be asking the questions.

I'd help him in Brazil. I've lived here for a long time and know many people that can assist him.

It isn't as if any rational person still believes the USA is a free country. Think about it. No-warrant wire taps, indefinite detention of citizens without charges, approval of rendition of prisoners and torture, stop and frisk without probable cause, search and seizure without a warrant, no-knock entry, confiscation and destruction of cameras that might have been used to film police acting illegally, police brutality, police shootings that go without investigation, managed news, and the civil-rights destroying "Patriot" Act.

Acts of police behaving illegally, with shootings, Tasers, and unwarranted violence now appear almost daily. Rarely are these offenses punished. Most often "an investigation" is claimed, but soon forgotten.

In addition, the USA, with 5% of the world population, has 25% of all of the prisoners in the world. That means the USA has the most people in prison of any nation in history. Even by percentage of residents incarcerated, not just sheer numbers. USA is # 1

Does any of that sound like a free country?

As Dwight D. Eisenhower said about communism, "It's like slicing sausage. First they out off a small slice. That isn't worth fighting over. Then they take another small slice that isn't worth fighting over. Then another and another. Finally, all you have left is the string and that isn't worth fighting over, either.

If Morello gives him any money, he should be considered an accomplice. There is nothing patriotic about a communist world tour. The rich just think they can piss on anyone and get away with it.

The government steals from Americans on a daily basis. They fund Al Qaeda in Syria after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan supposedly attacked our buildings. The so called "representatives" have used the "War On Terror" to wage war on your freedom. Wake up and smell the tyranny, your Bill of Rights is being shredded. Good for you Tom.
