Michael Jackson's Nephew

He Handed Out $100 Bills

to Strangers

6/27/2013 1:10 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

Michael Jackson
was foolishly generous when he was alive ... handing out $100 bills to complete strangers whenever he felt like it -- this according to his nephew.

TJ Jackson -- the co-guardian of Michael's three kids -- testified today as part of the wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, claiming MJ was "extremely generous" ... citing generosity towards his employees, as well as random handouts of $100 bills to strangers.

It's pretty crazy ... considering MJ died a financial wreck, buried in nearly insurmountable debt.

During his testimony, TJ also said MJ's daughter Paris was hit the hardest by the singer's death, saying, "The loss of my uncle has hit her at a different level ... She was daddy's little girl. My uncle was her world."

TJ said he also supports Halle Berry's efforts to block paparazzi from chasing celebrity kids -- claiming the Jackson children are often faced with rogue photogs. He said, "I think it's awful what they get away with."

A 'financial wreck' ?? Good God, if you believe that tabloid media myth about Jackson you'll believe anything. His finances were complicated yes but he was no fool when it came to finance, he may have played naive when it came to money but all will be revealed in time.

TJ, is barely talking to Paris and had no idea that the kids were not doing great.
Damage control from another Jackson...
Keep promoting Katherine & her Jehovah Witness morals, TJ.

I'm sure TJ was so close to MJ and wants to share the $40 billion with his beloved cousins.

MJ tried to go on stage to get rid of the well publicized financial ruin.
He changed his mind in 2008 because he threw money away & had no movies or music.
He refused to do concerts; he said he was afraid of "disappointing the fans".

He went back to the Propofol injections & his son testified that he became emaciated & emotional, even though he denied that his father needed hospitalization.
MJ needed the words of his lyrics written on teleprompters because he couldn't remember them.

He FORCED his 3 kids to give hundreds of dollars to Murray, to bribe Murray to stay with him and inject Propofol (he knew Murray was in debt and had mental problems). That's why every drug use was a secret. Prince was lied to by his nanny & MJ. He testified that MJ was just MEDITATING in his room when Prince couldn't GET INTO HIS darling father's bedroom.
Before MJ abused Propofol in April 2009, Prince said he saw the nurse & Murray inject MJ with a drug without hiding in the bedroom.
Then, MJ locked the kids out of his bedroom & killed himself.

Without the Propofol injections, he would've died with his lack of food & real sleep , according to the sleep specialist.
Yeah, what a great father. It's the public's fault that he killed himself.

He threw most his money at little boys, lawyers, disgusting plastic surgeons, drug thieves who called themselves doctors.

Why did MJ not care for Jordan Chandler after Evan Chandler destroyed Jordan?
Oh, right. MJ had a year of being a victim of an unwealthy mentally ill father and the obviously manipulated boy.
That sounds so familiar when you remember Gavin Arvizo & the MJ kids.

He had the nerve to demand a $93 million house in 2008, despite not having the money.

In the presence of his kids, he broke a vase and slammed the phone because he couldn't go onstage and shut up everyone who dared to tell him he had emotional & physical problems. He was killing himself and pretending he protected his kids from danger...

He told Prince that AEG was killing him..
He also said the police station officers tore up his arm & tortured him with harassment & toilet waste.
He told Prince that "they ruined their Neverland".
Funny how MJ said "I don't care about Neverland"
when he stopped living there. Yeah, he loved the kids at Neverland so much.

Why was MJ helping Sony & owning the Beatles Catalog if he was the victim of the "racist" & devilish Tommy Mottola? Was Mariah Carey calling Mottola a racist too?
From 1997-2008, he clearly wasn't number 1 on the sales list, even though his fanatics said he never spent a dime on face injections & face butchering and that he was drug-free & unmanipulative to kids.

All the money poured in after his death from the "fans".

STFU fanatics. Vote 40 Hates. He's still dead & Paris is reminded of her wrist scars.

Michael Jackson's nephew broke down crying on the witness stand Thursday and told jurors that the King of Pop's daughter is "in a tough spot" after her recent attempted suicide.

Tito "T.J." Jackson Jr. didn't specifically mention the June 5 call to paramedics saying Paris Jackson had taken 20 Motrin pills and slashed her arm with a kitchen knife. But he said that as her co-guardian along with grandmother Katherine Jackson, he's now working overtime to help the troubled teen.

"I don't want to go into details on what's going on with Paris now, but could you explain how Paris is handling the loss of her father?" asked Kevin Boyle, one of the lawyers representing Katherine in her wrongful death case against concert promoter AEG Live.

"It's tough," TJ said. "She was daddy's girl. My uncle was her world."

T.J. acknowledged Michael's death has "been very hard" for all three kids - including Michael’s sons Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11 - but Paris was "the princess of his life."

Paris Jackson is having a hard time since her dad’s death.

"Paris has a heart of gold," he said of the 15-year-old. "I just think the loss of my uncle has hit her at a different level. She's in a tough spot, but we're all loving her and doing everything we can to get her where she should be."

The 34-year-old son of Jackson Five member Tito Jackson said he agreed to become co-guardian of Michael's kids because the "Thriller" singer gave him extra support and guidance after the 1994 drowning murder of his mom DeDe Jackson.

He called Michael his "mentor" and smiled as jurors watched a music video of him and his brothers singing with the pop icon.

"He was just everything," T.J., bowing his head in tears and needing a minute to compose himself.

T.J. called his grandmother the "queen" and "CEO" of the family, saying it was his role simply to help her in any way possible with Michael's kids.

He said Katherine also has taken Michael's death "very hard."

"Our children are supposed to outlive us, so it's been very difficult on our grandmother," he said.

The married dad with three kids of his own was named co-guardian last summer after some relatives reported Katherine "missing" while she was out of state with a group of Michael's siblings.

He said he handles the kids' school and medical appointments and tries to instill in them the humility he admired in his uncle.

T.J. said he drives a Honda Accord and Michael's son Prince drives a Ford truck, not a Maserati.

"(Prince) is an amazing person," he said. "Since he was a kid, he's always been one of the smartest kids I've ever seen or known, reading books at a young age, devouring books."

Prince gave his own emotional testimony a day earlier, speaking publicly about his dad for the first time .

The high schooler recalled his tears the day of his dad's fatal overdose and lamented his inability to share milestones such as his driver's license and first girlfriend with his doting dad.

"Nothing will ever be the same," Prince testified Wednesday. "I can't sleep at night. I have a hard time sleeping. For a while after he died, I became emotionally distant from a lot of people."

Prince also touched on his sister's current hospitalization in general terms.

"Out of all my siblings, she was probably hit the hardest because she was my dad's princess," he said. "It really hurt her a lot. She definitely is dealing with it in her own way."

Michael Jackson rehearses for his planned shows in London at the Staples Center on June 23, 2009, in Los Angeles. Jackson died two days later at the age of 50.

A source told the Daily News Paris suffers from "severe" depression and likely will remain in treatment for an extended period.

Speaking to jurors Thursday, T.J. said Michael's youngest son Blanket also misses his dad but is trying to live a normal life - one that includes martial arts classes every Tuesday.

He said Blanket was always "very shy."

"Blanket was always wrapped around (Michael's) leg, right behind his leg," he said. "Wherever my uncle was, Blanket was there. My uncle was everything to Blanket."

Katherine is suing AEG Live for damages that could top $1 billion, saying the promoter of Michael's ill-fated "This Is It" concert series should be held liable for his death.

Her lawsuit claims AEG Live negligently hired the doctor who's now serving four years for Michael's fatal overdose on June 25, 2009.

AEG has denied any wrongdoing, arguing it was Michael who hired the doctor and went to great lengths to hide his use of an intravenous anesthetic as a treatment for his insomnia.

Nephew: Michael Jackson 'was just everything'

By Alan Duke, CNN

June 27, 2013 -- Updated 2153 GMT (0553 HKT)

Randy Phillips: He's president of AEG Live, the concert promoter that contracted with Michael Jackson for his "This Is It" comeback shows set to start in London in July 2009. The Jackson lawsuit says Phillips supervised Dr. Conrad Murray's treatment of Jackson in the weeks before his death, making the company liable for damages. E-mails between Phillips and other executives showed they were worried about Jackson's missed rehearsals and sought Murray's help getting him ready.

Paparazzi stalking makes "everything harder for the kids to grieve and to recover, he says

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Jurors heard more testimony Thursday about the emotional devastation caused by Michael Jackson's death.

"He was just everything," said T.J. Jackson, youngest son of Jackson's brother Tito.

T.J. Jackson, who shares guardianship of Michael Jackson's children -- Prince, Paris and Blanket -- with their grandmother, was called as a witness by Jackson lawyers at the wrongful death trial of AEG Live.

Michael Jackson's mother and his children contend his last concert promoter was liable for his death because it hired, retained or supervised Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

AEG Live lawyers argue it was Jackson, not the company, who chose and controlled Dr. Murray. Their executives had no way of knowing he was giving nightly infusions of the surgical anesthetic propofol to Jackson, which the coroner ruled killed the singer, the lawyers say.

If the jury concludes AEG Live has liability in Jackson's death, then they must put a dollar figure on damages -- including the emotional toll on the children caused by the loss of their father.

The oldest child, 16-year-old Prince, testified Wednesday that sister Paris, 15, "was probably hit the hardest because she was my dad's princess."

Paris has been hospitalized since a suicide attempt earlier this month, although it is unclear whether jurors will know about it.

"The loss of my uncle has hit her at a different level and she's in a tough spot, but we're loving her and doing everything we can," T.J. Jackson testified Thursday

He said he was at a loss for words to describe what Paris is going through. "It's tough, you know, it's tough."

"She was daddy's girl," he said. "My uncle was her world. My uncle gave them more love and for it to be taken away, it's been very hard for Paris, and for all of them."

Blanket, who was 7 when his father died, "was always wrapped around his leg, very shy," T.J. Jackson said. "Wherever my uncle was, Blanket was a foot away, My uncle was everything to Blanket."

"Right now, I don't know if Blanket realizes what he lost," Prince said. "He was so young. He is still growing up just like I am and he doesn't have a father to guide him."

Prince said he has "a hard time sleeping" since his father's death in 2009. It left him "emotionally distant from a lot of people" for a while, he said.

He's missed sharing with his father "the first day of going to school, having the first girlfriend, being able to drive," Prince testified.

T.J. Jackson said Prince was Michael Jackson's "little assistant."

"He was very mature for his age, very smart. My uncle would prepare him for things" by telling him about his business deals.

"He's very strong, he's very smart," he testified. "He was always the smartest kid I'd ever known."

As a guardian, T.J. Jackson said he must constantly deal with paparazzi stalking the children for photographs.

"It's, just to be frank, a complete annoyance," he said. "It's awful."

He suggested there should be a new law to protect celebrity children from photographers.

"I know it's making everything harder for the kids to grieve and to recover and to progress," he said.

Testimony in Jackson case focuses on paparazzi

June 27, 2013, 5:59 PM EST

By ANTHONY McCARTNEY , AP Entertainment Writer

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Scrutiny by paparazzi has made it more difficult for the children of Michael Jackson to grieve for their dead father, a family cousin who serves as co-guardian of the singer's children told a jury on Thursday.

TJ Jackson said the three children don't like the attention, and he supports any legislative effort to curb photographers from pursuing images of the sons and daughters of celebrities.

"In my opinion, I know it's making everything harder for the kids to grieve and recover and progress," Jackson said.

The comments came as Jackson testified during a civil trial involving the death of the pop star about his relationship with his famous uncle and the singer's parenting of his children.

He cited remarks made Tuesday by Halle Berry in Sacramento as the Legislature considers a bill that would change the definition of harassment to include photographing or recording a child without the permission of a legal guardian.

Anyone convicted of a first offense could spend between 10 days and a year in jail.

TJ Jackson said he had to consider whether Michael Jackson's youngest son Blanket should attend martial arts classes on Tuesday because photographers would be interested in getting a shot of the 11-year-old on the fourth anniversary of his father's death.

TJ Jackson is Tito Jackson's son and a member of the musical group 3T with two of his brothers.
