CBS & 'Big Brother'

We're OFFENDED By

Our Racist Houseguests

The honchos at CBS tell TMZ ... they were certainly OFFENDED by several racist and homophobic comments made by the current "Big Brother" houseguests ... but hey, that's live programming for ya.

The houseguests have been under fire from what appears to be the ENTIRE INTERNET over the following comments:

-- GinaMarie referred to welfare as “n**ger insurance”
-- Aaryn called gay contestant Andy a "queer."
-- Spencer referred to Andy as “Kermit the F**" ... and praised Hitler as a gifted speaker.

CBS has released a statement to TMZ ... saying, "We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive."

However, The Eye points out that 24/7 live programming can sometimes reveal some bad things about people ... saying, "At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone."

There have been rumors that Big Brother will be 86ing some of the offensive cast members -- but it certainly doesn't appear that's gonna happen.

It would be cool on the show to play a game "Guess which house guest said..... and who said....." that would really stir things up

This would be funny if CBS hadn't jumped on the get Paula Dean bandwagon. Ethics and standards? Not at CBS. They should be gone and publicly called out on CBS news.

BOOHOO, who really cares if someone is racist? Black people are racist, white people are racist...what is the big deal? Is it not our right to not like someone or something?? The problem is somebody is always offended by something...It is a persons right to not agree with being gay...Just like people who offend others by calling them fat, ugly, retarded...what is the difference?? Gay people and minorities are so sensitive when in reality they can be the meanest, and most racist of everyone...I don't agree with a brother and sister marrying no matter how much in love they say they are...does that make me a bad person if I call them sickos? If you can't deal with the real world, dig yourself a hole in the ground, jump in and rest in peace...Not saying Aaryn and these other douche bags are nice people, or right in their beliefs, but put a camera in the homes of everyone out their judging, and imagine the things that are coming out of their mouths, wont be so pretty...

This show gets more disgusting as time goes by. The show intentionally chooses trash just to boot the ratings. Gina Marie? Who doesn't know that's a redneck?

This is sad. In only one week, we have slurs raged by Paula Dean, Alec Baldwin, and now BB participants. Seems like no one is being held accountable for his/her actions. Even on The TALK, members of the tables were vocal about these behaviors. CBS, please step up to the plate and send these participants packing. Thank you.

What they need to do is have a "house" meeting and have the youngsters stop the offensive language. I think the average age in that house is 22 and provably don't realize what "CAMERAS ON 24/7"

That's ok CBS, I'll be one who won't waste my time. I find most "reality"show really dumb down their viewers or maybe it's just the viewers are already dumbed down.

I got to give props to TMZ - I was about to rip you guys a new one for taking so long to even mention what was happening in BB (I know for a fact someone notified you guys about all the bigotry going on in the house since Saturday), but you've taken the time to at least get CBS to make a comment about this whole mess, and that's commendable.

That being said... none of the heinous HGs who are behind those comments will be 86'd - if that was to happen, CBS would already have done it by now. All we can hope is they get what's coming to them the second they step out of the house...

Nice, so basically their response is "stuff happens". Almost half of the cast have made extremely offensive comments. Do they forget that they cast the show? Do they forget that they are responsible for enabling these tool bags with the broad forum to spew their hate speech? Do they realize that there is a good chance the will reward one of these s*** bags with half a million dollars? Pathetic response.

So just show it. I don't have a problem with a racist being on a show it bothers me that they cover for him.

They should take them off. Zero tolerance has been the way things have gone this past couple of weeks. After the Paula Deen issue if CBS doesnt remove them that it would hurt the show. People should think before they say things. Once the words are spoken you cannot take them back.

Nothing but drama queens getting upset for the sake of getting upset.
And Hitler was a fantastic speaker. How do you think he got to power?
People trying to change history to fit their political and social agenda make me sick.

I'm offended that people can't speak their minds without being harassed by the PC Police.
