Al Sharpton on Zimmerman

We Won't Stop

Until Justice Is Served

A battle was lost, but the war's not over ... Al Sharpton says he WILL NOT REST until justice is served for Trayvon Martin's death -- after yesterday's not guilty verdict for the man who pulled the trigger.

Our photog spotted Rev. Sharpton at LaGuardia Airport Sunday -- and asked if he was disappointed that 6 jurors acquitted Zimmerman of all charges. His answer ... a resounding YES.

However, Al says this is not the end ... "We always had a plan B. We now go to the Justice Department seeking civil rights charges." He adds, "We're not gonna stop until we get justice."

FYI -- a similar thing happened in the O.J. Simpson trial regarding the death of Nicole Brown Simpson. O.J. was acquitted of criminal charges, but then sued in civil court for wrongful death -- and ordered to pay $33.5 million to the families of NBS and Ronald Goldman.

Zimmerman could face a similar civil suit OR possibly be tried in federal court if the Justice Department decides to go through with criminal civil rights charges.

What doesn't the media and the Rev Al tell the truth about Trayvon . The kid was a thief and involved with selling dope. Maybe , just maybe , if his school had acted and reported him to the authorities he could have been helped. I am sick to death of playing the race card!!! AND why didn't MR Holder and The Rev have nothing to do with the Black Panthers??? IOh maybe because the are AfroAmericans!!!!

When will The Rev Al and the news media tell the sordid past of Trayvon .He was a thief!!,and maybe ,just maybe, if school officials had acted he may have been helped.
I am sick to death of The Rev Al playing the race card. Why didn't he ,along with Mr. Holder prosecute the Black Panthers ? I WONDER?I
IF the Rev is really concerned about black youth, he should use his big mouth to address the problem in Chicago instead of grandstanding everytime issue comes up.
He is a disgrace!!!and I too am sick of him .

A great man once said..

"But there is something that I must say to my people,
who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the
palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful
place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds.
Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by
drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred."

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

I must say that in recent events, and past events, civil
rights leaders like Al Sharpton and the NAACP have gone
against what this great man was trying to express. America
has abolished slavery and gotten rid of segregation. Blacks and
whites are allowed to live, eat, transport, work, and go to school
together as equals. Everyone in this country is born with the same
fundmental rights to succeed if they truly want to.

Now we cannot control racism in each indivdual, but what we can control
is our actions towards people of other races and cultures.

"REVEREND" Al Sharpton calls himself a Christian, yet he promotes
protests that are usually caused by what the community feels as injustice against
African Americans. These protests are usually fueled by hatred and agression.

Recently Al Sharpton has called for "Justice for Travon" rallys in over 100 citys.
Though I do feel sorry for Trayvons family, and anyone who has ever experienced the loss of
a child or loved one, I don't see how calling for protests to shut down over 100 cities
could do anything but add fuel to the fire of racism, hatred, anger and bitterness.
Millions of people die every day. Death, murder, rape, and any sort of voilence has no prejudice.
People of all races and cultures die violently every day.

Intead of using protests and racism to get attention from the media, why doesn't he be
a good Christian like he claims to be and promote that we all not forget the Zimmerman/Martin
case, but pray for both sides and familys of both parties to find peace and forgivness.
Instead of protests why not hold vigils where people of all races and nationalities can hold
hands and pray for voilence to end all over the world.

I'm sorry for bashing Al Sharpton, but I'm tired of him playing the race card to gain media attention,
money, and supporters in the diguise of justice when he is only fueling hatred and racism by
bringing it to the media for his own selfish gains. Is people like this that are reintroducing segregation
into our communities.
