Rolling Stone

'Bomber' Cover

Banned at 7-Eleven

EXCLUSIVE

Rolling Stone's cover story about the Boston Marathon bomber just got the magazine yanked out of nearly 2,000 7-Eleven stores, and more could follow ... TMZ has learned.

The omnipresent convenient store is joining the national outrage over the mag's upcoming issue with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover, and an investigation into his life leading up to the bombing.

A rep for 7-Eleven, Inc. tells TMZ it "will not sell the Aug. 1 issue of the Rolling Stone magazine in its company-operated stores."

There are 1,700 company operated stores -- and another 5,900 franchised stores. The rep says they'll also urge those franchise owners to pull the issue.

Yesterday, CVS, Walgreens, and Stop & Shop all said they will not sell the issue either.

I think it's good that 7-11 did this.It seems like they are trying to promote him as a role model.I believe that they want to wipe out most of the the minorities and poor people and they would like young men to radicalize enough that they could get us to accept more restrictions, give up more rights, and they will have more freedom to deal with people as they see fit, without regard to the constitution and every sign says we are headed that way.
If we were being told that gangs of kids like this were forming an organized network and planning something, people would not care what it took to stop it. They know exactly how they are marketing him out of all the pictures they could have used, especially pictures of the damage, but they are showing him as a teen idol. Then we're supposed to blame it all on the dead brother I don't go for that. I know the brother had a lot of influence over him and that should be considered but don't tell young people you can blow up bombs and blame it on other people. .

He is just the scapegoat for the NWO like George Zimmerman. They want everyone to be united in hate behind very mild mannered and peaceful people. They write twisted fables for the masses to get caught up in, as if they know some hidden facts about these otherwise nonthreatening people.

They want you to think an autistic kid who never stopped smiling shot up little kids and his own mother besides in Sandy Hook. People just don't want to get real.

They do want to kiss up to the authorities, even if they are dirty Nazis lying about innocent victims. They think as long as they seem to have it good, it is all good.

Absolutely disgusting to give this murderer any face time. Shame on you rolling stone! You could have done the article without his face on the front. Horrible for the victims.

This is all about racial profiling in a way. They want to put people in a box and keep them there. Whatever they imagine in their heads you are supposed to look like, that is all that they will accept.

If you are called a Musilm terrorist, you can not look like a sweet young man relaxing on his bed. You have to be wrapped in a sheet and dancing in the street compaling about people eating pork.

If you are of Jewish bloodline like George Zimmerman, you can't be the neighborhood watch captain and look like a regular Hispanic and know how to shoot to kill when your life is in danger. You are supposed to be in a black hat and black suit and bobbing at some wall wishing for God to rescue you.

This is all subtle raicst mind control going on through the mass media. Dzhokhar has a right to look and be whatever he is and so does George and everyone else. That is what freedom of expression is.

before you judge, i want you to think why was the backpack with explosives not the same that DT had on him. Then if you look at the pictures of this bombing you find who had identical backpack that exploded. just check it on youtube and i'm sure you're not gonna judge DT anymore.

This is not the kind of Magazine that should have him on the cover. TIME or maybe People could but it should be a mugshot gracing the cover if he's the cover story. NOT some damn boy band looking photo of him in a regular t-shirt laying back posing like a damn celebrity. It's the pose more than anything. It's a casual picture and it almost looks like they're making him out to be some teenage hearthrob.
I know who the big picture is that a terrorist can be just the guy next door, and that their are terrorists amoung us all, and they can look like anybody, but that picture of him should be unmistakable that he's a terrorist and it should be him in handcuffs, or a mugshot. People don't want to see him laying against a wall looking like one of the Jonas brothers. They want to see him where he needs to be seen, and in the only way he should be protrayed right now. IN CUSTODY. Not looking like any other rock star. That's what it is. When you look at that cover you can't tell who or what he is. You just think he's a celebrity. And he's not a celebrity. He's not an entertainer. He's a mass murderer. It's exactly as if they get Charles Manson on the cover in ripped jeans and no shirt showing off his tattoos looking like your average Johnny Depp picture standing there laying up against a wall like a ruggesd sex symbol. It's inappropriate, and especially for that magazine. They jumped into a genre that isn't there. They needed to leave that cover staory for the pages of Life or Time. Not Rolling Stone. Very inappropriate. It's not evben their style of journalism to have him as a cover story. I'm not stupid. I know what they're doing. They are trying to be controversial and they're catering to those warped teen girls that found him "cute". It's just shock value and it's pathetic. And I'm glad it's backfiring on them. Maybe now they'll learn their lesson about exploiting victims all to sell a few magazines.

I read the article and this is for people who have not read it. Rolling Stone wanted to be edgy and they thought it was cool that pic looked like Jim Morrison since you know they are like magazine about iconic rock stars. But they went too far. The article romanticizes terrorist Jahar and is just as DISGUSTING as the Teen Beat cover. Beautiful, soulful eyes - R U Kidding me? Who says this about cold blooded remorseless killer??? Brothers were lazy potsmokers who never had real jobs and Americans paid for their welfare and this dirtbag Jahar even got scholarship to go to college. Jahar wasted his college by smoking pot and he was failing classes. They blame financial problems on parents who left for Russia and "boring" college. The article was more about blaming society and everyone else to humanize Jahar as the poor soul victim. The cover was appropriate for article because both wanted to make you feel sorry for Jahar. Even though he killed maimed 250+ Americans and partied and prob smoked pot after bombing. It was SICK OFFENSIVE COVER and ARTICLE and Rolling Stone just trying to be edgy and sell magazine. Too bad the author and editors did not lose any family members to the bombings to see how disgusting and hurtful to victims this had caused. Oh yeah that Manson cover was 20 years ago and at least the editor at that time had decency not to use Manson picture that looked like Teen Beat or teen rock star. Mugshot would have shown this is what happens when you KILL PEOPLE! IDIOT EDITORS! Irresponsible JOURNALISM
