Jay Z & Beyonce

Protest In NYC

With Trayvon Martin's Mom

Jay Z and Beyonce have made it clear -- they believe justice was NOT served in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin ... they spent Saturday protesting the laws which allowed his killer to walk.

Photos of the superstar couple showed up on Instagram ... of Jay and Bey in NYC, protesting against "Stand Your Ground" laws ... the law in FL which allowed George Zimmerman to claim self-defense in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon.

J & B were seen posing with Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton, and Al Sharpton. Al reportedly told the crowd of protesters the famous couple was there ... but didn't want to speak and didn't come for a photo op.

As TMZ previously reported ... both Beyonce and Jay have taken time out of recent performances to honor Trayvon. And last week, Beyonce tagged a photo on Instagram "JusticeForTrayvon."

Where were Jay Z and Beyonce when yesterday a black man shot and killed a black man in N Minneapolis. . 93% of all black people murderers are at the hands of another black person. .that's ok though i guess because there were no protests . .no uproar

DISGUSTED! As o huge fan of both of them, they just lost one!
The only reason they're doing this is because the victim is a black person, Uhhh, what about ALL the others, i.e. black on black crime...where were they then?
And to me, this is NOT about the outcome of the verdict, this is about these 2 pulling this stunt!

Give me a break, If Jay-z wanted to help then stay out of it completely. He has no idea what he is talking about. Justice was served. If he truly is committed to helping with the racist problem in this Country, which I doubt he is. But if he were then he would be telling the truth about the black on black killing in this Country and why it is happening and be a leader in helping stop this horrible trend. Instead he wants to join the racist himself and inject himself in to something he knows nothing about. Trayvon Martin was another young man heading down the wrong path with a broken family and no guidance. He was not a kid getting skittles and a juice at a local store and then just walking home to enjoy his treats. He as up to no good and got caught being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is horrible that he was killed, but it a thousands times worse with black on black crime. Look at the statistics and try to help in a more positive way, instead of showing your true racist colors. These racist leaders do exactly what they want, stir the racist pot up so they can stay in the spot light. Thanks Jay-z you have shown your cards and they are not good. Be part of the solution instead of becoming part of the problem. Maybe if you have been informed of the facts and not what someone told you, you would have stayed out of it completely. Jay-Z you are such a huge disappointment and I don't care how much money you have. you are not helping at all.

Odd Rev Sharpton stated it is about someone's Civil Right to walk home and no one has mentioned Jamison Knight who was also a 17 yr old AA young man who was walking home in Sanford about 2 wks after TM and about 4 miles away. He was gunned down in the street during a drive-by not meant for him and was paralyzed from the waist down and died a few months later.

Nor did anyone there mention the little girl who was gunned down at the same time this was going on while attending a Memorial Service. So frankly I am not impressed by what they did. Go into the trenches and reach out to some that are hurting just as much with loss but since they do not fit the narrative...no one cares to sway their name or put them on a t-shirt..then again I am not sure that the parents of those kids thought to Trademark their sons name so they get a piece of that pie when it is used.

We all enjoy the Reader's Digest version in life. The news media makes it even easier for viewers to judge without ever leaving their couch. In reality there is a method to the long drawn out madness of selecting a jury (including backup). No, it does not entail picking straws. After following all the rules set by the judge, listening to both sides (lawyers, witnesses, experts, etc.) for (a) week(s)/month(s), the jury is given the counts/charges by the judge. The case that went on for an extended period of time is now addressed and decided in a locked room and a unanimous decision is made, hopefully. (As a juror your feelings, views, etc. are not allowed) Remember - Beyond A Reasonable Doubt. When was the last time Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kim K, etc. was a juror in Federal or Civil Court?

This proves right here why people are up in arms about the verdict. TO GET FAME!!!

If Zimmerman was black and he shot a white kid and was found not guilty, no one would say anything.

Black people are just mad because they need something to complain about and this is it.

Trayvon's parent are just looking for fame and money off this.

To even play a race card anymore is dumb. And for the dumba$$ president to say black people are the only ones to get followed in stores and harassed for the way they look is ridiculous. I'm white and can't even go into a store by myself because people follow me for the way I look. I get harassed on a daily basis for the way I look.

And for the President to come out in public and say that just makes me think he has no faith in our justice system what so ever.

So what the kid that got shot was black, guess what Zimmerman is also hispanic but you don't hear people mentioning that because they want the immigrants to come to our country, so that would kill the presidents agenda of making that legal. If I saw Zimmerman in public not knowing who he was I would think he was mexican.

But since black like to bring race into it more than any other race, they call him white so they can be racist against white people without it seeming racist.

I say if we want true equality in this World, QUIT BRING UP RACE!! Get rid of titles for race and just call us all human,

You think because a 17 year old black kid most likely ran his mouth off (because I never have met a 17 year old kid that don't run their mouths) that a INNOCENT man (Zimmerman) should fry for it. it's like the juror said, they both were responsible.

Zimmerman should've stayed in his car and waited for police and Trayvon shouldn't have confronted Zimmerman and start assault him for no reason.

THIS CASE HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE ABOUT RACE. Blacks like to put race into it so they can get away with commiting crimes and get away with being racist theirselves. Cracker or Cracka is a racist term.

If that term was used to identify "people that whip slaves" than it is racist against white people. White people as had a term for slaves and it was the N-word, so how can that be considered racist but not cracker.

Anyway, get over it people. Al Sharpton's dumba$$ always has to stir the pot for his benefit when anything has a black person. Let white people start a group like NAACP and see how many people call it racist (which the NAACP is).

If Zimmerman didn't shoot Trayvon stupid a$$ someone in his "hood" would have. It's not a wasted life when people like that were born to have wasted lives. Zimmerman now has a brighter future than Trayvon ever did even if he was still alive.

If these NAACP people and whoever protest over dumb crap like this don't like it, go back to Africa and live in the huts they live in over there and we will see which country is better. If it wasn't for white people, that's where they all would be now and this wouldn't even be a topic right now.

So let me get this straight....I'm an adult...I can go follow a white teen, make him feel stalked and scared...or feel the need to defend himself while hes walking alone in the rain to his house with some candy...provoke him....then shoot him in self defense him...and that's okay Zimmerman was an adult, that was told to stand down. He was told not to follow or to make any contact, This man was arm and dangerous. He made that decision. This was a kid, who had no weapon in hand. If anyone of us had a gun pointed at us we would fight like hell to save our life including using the concrete. I do not care what race you are, you would fight. Remember we were once kids and we all have done things in our, past.

Trayvon Benjamin Martin (February 5, 1995 – February 26, 2012) was the son of Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, who were divorced in 1999. He was a junior at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School and lived with his mother and older brother in Miami Gardens, Florida.[21][22][23] Trayvon's English teacher, Michelle Kypriss, described him as an A and B student who majored in cheerfulness.[22]

On the day Martin was fatally shot, he and his father were visiting his father's fiancée and her son at her townhome in The Retreat at Twin Lakes in Sanford, a multi-ethnic gated community, where the shooting occurred.[24][25] Martin had visited his father's fiancée at Twin Lakes several times.[26][27]

Martin had been suspended from school at the time of his death.[28] He had been suspended twice before. One suspension was for tardiness and truancy.[29] Another suspension in October 2011 was for graffiti, when Martin was observed by a security camera in a restricted area of the school marking up a door with "W.T.F."[29] When he was later searched by a Miami-Dade School Police Department officer, looking for the graffiti marker, the officer found several pieces of women's jewelry in his backpack, which Martin said a friend had given to him. A screwdriver was also found, which was described by the school police investigator as a burglary tool. The jewelry was impounded and given to the police, but no evidence ever surfaced to indicate that the jewelry was stolen.[29] Martin's third suspension involved a marijuana pipe and an empty bag containing marijuana residue.[28] Martin was not charged with any crime related to these incidents and did not have a juvenile record.[30] Judge Debra Nelson ruled that the defense may have access to Martin's records, including the details of these suspensions, as well as access to Martin's social media sites,[31] but ruled they will not be admissible as evidence during the trial unless they can be shown to be relevant

The political claws in this case run deep. GZs civil rights have been violated and he has been a pawn in the zealots race game. Justice for George..\

Steal Bicycles For Trayvon!

What I find strange is the reporter saying she say a protester lifting a rock but she doesn't know if he threw it, then that she saw people running out of stores with item but doesn't know if they paid for them.

Maybe cause they just wanted to build a stone monument to Trayvon in the street and they were just buying more supplies at the Walmart to finish the project.

BFFs with the President. Zimmerman's was a political prosecution. Quiz either of them of the actual evidence presented in court. They know nothing. a just verdict was served by six women brave enough to deliver a verdict they knew would bring scorn upon them.
