ShamWow Ex-Scientologist

Leah Remini's Life

Is in Danger

You don't attack the Church of Scientology and get away with it ... not by a long shot -- so says one famous ex-Scientologist Vince Offer (the ShamWow Guy), who tells TMZ, Leah Remini is lucky she's still alive.

Offer was out in L.A last night -- and it's clear he's still concerned about L. Ron Hubbard's followers after his highly-publicized split from the Church ten years ago ... because he was VERY hesitant to talk about Remini's situation.

You'll recall, the "King of Queens" actress recently left the Church, then filed a missing persons report regarding Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige. The Church was PISSED.

Offer called Remini's move "brave," but said he couldn't say much more because he values his life ... and he wasn't kidding. You have to see how scared this guy is.

As for Scientology -- reps for the Church have repeatedly stated that Miscavige is fine ... and rumors of mistreatment are nothing more than defamatory lies.

Oh B.S.! Sure they're a rogue cult, but do you really think they're going to murder someone like Leah Remini over this? And who would be the obvious suspects? I'd say she's safer now than she's ever, ever been.

The first thought I had when Remini opened her mouth was "she's going to turn up dead". Everyone said, no, won't happen, doubt it. Hmmmmm...

Religion is supposed to help and uplift (right?). Instead it brings hatred and death. Let all of these buffoons kill eachother over which imaginary being is better than the other. Count me out. Can't wait to see who's left standing in the end.

Ex-Scientologists? That's funny. No, really! Being an ex-scientologist is like saying, "Well, I tried eating a sh*t sandwich...but the taste just kinda put me off."
.
Please! Anyone that's even Googled what Scientology is about has to laugh at this. And to try and sound credible as an "ex" Scientologist? Get the f*ck out!

If the premise of the article is true, the the Shamwow guy is also a marked man. Is there any precedent for Scientologists revenge-murdering a high profile actress or commercial pitchman? I've never heard of it. Either this guy's paranoid or TMZ is.

If you have a media outlet as an accomplice, stating that you're afraid someone's going to murder someone or yourself is a fabulous way to get with slander. You're not calling them murderers, you're just stating your fear. It seems highly unlikely that Leah Remini is about to be murdered.

I hate Scientology, but geezus TMZ is this headline misleading and incorrect. He never said her life was in danger. He said that he had battles with them and that he "wants to be around." In no way did he come close to saying HER life was in danger. Issue a correction, TMZ.
