Chris Brown

Sentenced to 1,000 MORE HOURS

Chris Brown just got his ass handed to him in court -- the judge sentenced him to 1,000 more hours of community labor after the L.A. County D.A. accused him of fudging his records.

As we reported, the D.A. believes the singer violated his probation in the Rihanna beating case by submitting bogus community service reports -- in one case even swearing he was picking up trash in Virginia when he was actually on a private jet to Cancun.

The judge revoked Chris' probation last month in the wake of hit-and-run allegations, but reinstated it today on the condition Chris completes an additional 1,000 hours of community service.

Think of it like a do-over -- because of the discrepancy in Chris' original labor hours, the singer won't get ANY credit for service he may or may not have completed since his conviction. Chris was originally sentenced to 180 days of community labor (1,440 hours).

Unlike last time -- when the judge said Chris could complete his labor in his home state of Virginia -- the judge today ordered that Chris' service must be supervised by L.A. County officials.

Chris can choose between Caltrans (aka highway cleanup), beach cleanup, probation alternative work services (PAWS), or our personal favorite ... graffiti removal.

Chris must also report to a probation officer within the next 48 hours. He did not look happy in court.

The good news ... Chris' probation will finally end in August 2014. One more year to go.

I said in the comments here for over a year that Chris lied about doing his work and everyone said I was lying. I'm glad they finally caught up to him, friggin liar. But now they also need to prosecute his mother, the one that was responsible for supervising his work, and also the Sheriff's department in Virginia that went along with the whole scam for a big fat check.

You people need to remember that we were not in the car when the incident happened. Just because a person gets into a fight does not make them abusive. A man had a comment on Youtube under a domestic violence video were he believed it was ok to hit women. If Chris had that mindset then yes he should be in jail, but he retaliated to a mad girlfriend & it was one stupid decision he made. What does it mean to you when y'all say "show remorse"? Everything he does is "publicity" so I'm pretty sure if he showed remorse, you would of said that's fake to, so just accept his damn apology video. I can understand Rihanna's decision going back to him last year HOWEVER what I don't get is..... why after telling the police who found you bloodied & battered would you go back to your abusive boyfriend weeks later? Most women never express their abuse & to the police is taboo. To me that means your trying to get out, yet a month later are hiding away in a nice mansion with someone who in their eyes will abuse you again. Some of you act as if he killed the girl but last I checked Rihanna is fine and dandy. At least Chris turned himself in, acknowledged himself as an 'accomplice' to the fight, plead guilty, & fulfilled his punishments. I don't hear anyone crying how Emma Roberts should 'show remorse' or 'say sorry' nor her situation is causing chaos. She broke her boyfriends nose btw, double standard much? The worse thing Chris has done was beat up his girlfriend (she didn't have broken anything, I don't get that though). You people act as if he got away with it WELL why is he in court now? I guess because he looks good in a suite, lol. Why is the court punishing him further for mis written dates but didn't arrest him for vandalizing a window? Why hasn't the court arrested Drake who's actions harmed other people at the club? The judge spoke on him using marijuana, that's not has dangerous as throwing a chair out the window, yet they let that slide. The court is simply holding him back because from what I see, he hasn't done anything that is law breaking. Rihanna isn't your grandmother, mother, sister, cousin friend etc she's just a rich chic on t.v. & you know the prettiest chics are the absolute horrible, just sayin. So since y'all don't know her personally & said she has forgiven the incident why are you still UPSET? She wasn't hurt that badly nor her family are even angry. Don't act like Chris has gotten away with anything because like I said, he's in court & I don't mean the basketball court. Just ignore him & enjoy all that there is of Rihanna because haters seem to focus more on the person they hate then who they like. Shut up your not anti domestic violence advocates. Celebrities aren't that important to our lives to be upset for years because of what they done.

He can finally be a productive member of society, at least for the next 1000 hours.

Y'all are so stupid. If Chris can in some way fool the court into thinking he did 1,400 hours don't you think he could of just has easily made Rihanna lie about the incident so he can walk? He could of also paid the court & continue leading them to believe he did 1,400 hours. Why put yourself through this humiliation, especially if your rich? Which do you think is harder... fooling a whole experience group of people, or letting people think you didn't hit your girlfriend?

He needs it, I think community service would do him (and many other low level criminals) a lot of good as opposed to jail time. This will help keep him stay grounded and wouldn't it be ironic if he met his future wife while serving the community? Maybe he'll find someone to help him sweep away all his trash once and for all..

GOOD for the Judge!!
Mr. Brown is going to have to spend four months working eight hours a day laboring by the side of the road in an orange vest.
What are the odds he won’t do it and will spend some time in jail??
I say 50-50.
This is going to be fun to see unfold.
The hoop may be too high for Mr. Brown to jump through.
