Dodger Stadium

Foreclosure Looms

9/1/2013 12:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Dodgers Stadium
could be renamed Beamish Waterproofing Stadium unless the team antes up more than $4 million ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ has obtained liens that have been filed against the Stadium, for services that have gone unpaid.  Here's the breakdown:

-- Raymond-Southern California, Inc. ... $2,037,689 for improvements of IDF rooms, clubhouse, press box, concessions and retail

-- Mark Beamish Waterproofing, Inc. ...  $129,014 for caulking and sealants

-- ValleyCrest Landscape Development, Inc. ...  $443,609.50 for tree location, landscaping and irrigation

-- Safe Scaffolding ... $63,808.02 for erecting and dismantling scaffolding

-- Muir-Chase Plumbing, Inc. ... $1,180,684.94 for plumbing materials and labor

Total delinquency:  $3.854,985.46 ... plus interest.

A spokesman for the Dodgers tells TMZ ... this is a big misunderstanding, "It is not uncommon to have liens while the process of verifying bills goes on," adding, "all payments are now being processed." The rep expects the liens to be removed shortly.

Here's the upside ... fans with plumbers crack would get in free.

tmz is making a mountain out of normal everyday business practices. Each one of those companies would have filed a lien on you house if when they finished the work and you didn't pay them cash. Even credit cards or check you would have gotten a lien until it became cash in the accounts. I doubt very seriously this group is any where near bankruptcy. Too bad TMZ doesn't know real business practices.

TMZ should busy chasing the Crack Groopies of LaMar Kardashian rather than deal with business. Just because one worked on the same show as Judge Wapner does not mean he knows the ins and outs of construction financing.

No worries. Your first response wasn't even directed at me. We're good. Oh, here's what I found about an IDF room: IDF stands for "Intermediate Distribution Frame"
IDF room contains networking equipment delivering connectivity to a localized area such as a building floor, row of cubicles, etc. I guess we should all feel stupid for not knowing something so simple, huh?

Kari, think of an IDF room as a big, air-conditioned room with a lot of computer equipment with wires running under the floors to other parts of a building. Lots of flashing lights and such I'm sure. No doubt the "writer" of the article just copied and pasted. It would have helped to have just said "an electronic equipment room" instead of "IDF room". I'd bet dollars to donuts the writer had no idea what it was either.
