Ex-New England Patriots' Star

Parents Threaten To Sue

For Outing Hooligan Kids

9/20/2013 9:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

A former star player for the New England Patriots has been threatened with a lawsuit by delusional parents who claim he's ruined the lives of their kids by exposing a drug/alcohol fueled party at his home.

Brian Holloway tells TMZ, "I blew way past furious" when he discovered several hundred teenagers broke into his vacation home outside Albany, NY over Labor Day weekend.

The kids started tweeting and Instagramming madly inside, posting photos of what looked like a scene out of "Animal House."

Holloway went ballistic, created a website -- helpmesave300 -- and started posting pictures of the damage, as well as the tweets from some of the partygoers -- and those tweets ID'd the kids.

Holloway tells TMZ ... he's been told by the Sheriff's Dept. some of the parents are furious because their poor kids have now been exposed.  Some bitch that it will hurt their chances of getting into college.  Others whine their poor kiddies are being harassed at school.  And they actually have the audacity to threaten a lawsuit.

Holloway says there was plenty of evidence of drugs at the party, including crack and meth.  And, of course, a river of alcohol.

He says it's gonna cost $20 - $40k to repair the damage.

The parents should try and bottle their chutzpah and sell it.  They could make enough to pay for the damage.

Well, I see all those delinquent apples didn't fall far from their dysfunctional parental trees! What audacity these parents have to even suggest such an awful thing!!!! Control your kids, teach them respect, & to respect other's property, you *******s!!!

College maybe a waste of money the way these kids behaved...smh

Wow. Nobody takes responsibility for anything. These delinquents trash the man's house & they're the victims? It's mind-blowing

You know why this makes me angry? Because he, not only has welcomed these children and their families into his home, but after the kids deliberately broke in and trashed the place, he gave them the opportunity to come help clean up the place, and only one of the kids, a young girl, who attended the party showed up.

Haha! What dummies. He didn't out them - they outed themselves while committing CRIMES! I guess if you're stupid enough to raise credit spawn you must be a pretty ignorant dirtbag yourself! Good luck with that!

Does this sentence look odd in the article: Some bitch that it will hurt their chances of getting into college. Others whine their poor kiddies are being harassed at school. And they actually have the audacity to threaten a lawsuit.

Until compensated, I'd send these pics and tweets to every college and employer these little f'ers even thought about applying to.

I would love to be on the jury because I would find in favor of the defendant and suggest that the DA make some arrests and hold these parents financially responsible for everything including attorney's fees and court costs.

Maybe the parents should save their money for the little bastards' bail money, lawyer fees, restitution...and oh yeah, military and convent schools.

Typical Upstate NY mentality, cover up your kids stupidity and lay the blame on the victim not the kids who wrecked the place. This is why kids are the way they are, parents bail them out for everything and find some excuse to turn the blame off their kids.

devil's advocate

I thought the kids were fools when I saw this on the news. It turns out their parents are even more foolish. I have to wonder if the kids were home schooled, all they have to do is follow @TMZ

I am all for prosecuting these punks, and I think their parents should have to pay for the damages, but one thing I do not understand: Even if they don't end up paying for the damage their kids did, why is Brian Holloway soliciting donations? His homeowner's insurance should cover all his damages, minus, typically, a $500 deductible.

These people must be dumber than hell. Obviously the kids are learning zero responsibility from ignorant parents. Not to worry about a lawsuit. The kids don't have "clean hands" being that they're criminals.
