Ex-Patriots Star Brian Holloway

Neighbors Call B.S.

On House-Trashing

EXCLUSIVE

The plot thickens in the story of ex-New England Patriots player Brian Holloway ... who went ballistic after his New York home was trashed by a horde of rowdy, drunken teen vandals.  Turns out the house was already in disrepair and in FORECLOSURE, and his neighbors smell a rat.

TMZ has learned ... Holloway owes a whopping $1,006,348.80 on the house ... it appears he was delinquent on paying his mortgage and the bank then demanded payment of the entire balance.

Brian hasn't lived in the home for a long time -- he's in Florida -- and neighbors tell us they thought the house was abandoned.  In fact, before the blow-out bash, neighbors say kids staged a number of parties in the house -- which has no furniture.

Neighbors think the kids who Brian is now attacking are getting a bad rap.  They say there was already plenty of damage to the home before the party in question -- broken doors and damaged floors.  And ... there was plenty of preexisting graffiti covering the walls.

Some neighbors are suspicious of Brian's motive in requesting financial help to pay for repairs on his PayPal account.  They think he's trying to create sympathy so money floods in and he can save his house.

As for Brian ... he tells TMZ there was some preexisting damage, but the 300 hooligans really trashed his crib.  He also says he's been trying to renegotiate with the bank for 2 years.

The clock is ticking -- the foreclosure sale is set for Oct. 29.

Who The eff cares what financial situation exists. Its NOT their property. And if there was grafitti and damage prior to that party, who did THAT? And what are the chances they were the ring leaders for the big one? Smell a rat? Are you kidding me TMZ? The RATS made the mess.

So if you are personally having financial troubles, this negates criminal activity?

I don't think so! That does not give irresponsible children (and their parents) a free pass.

I think he should sue each one of the parents if the child was under 18.

Wasn't he among the managers on the so-called "Online Success University" and GMT?

They fooled at lot of people years back. It seems that he is involved in a kind of scam-activity again.

I live in Albany, NY, so I can personally attest to the fact that this story had made the local news every night for about a week before it went national. Mr. Holloway has appeared nothing less than sincere in every interview I have seen him in. He has said from the beginning that damage can be repaired, stolen items can be returned, it's the mentality, or lives, of the 300 drinking and drugging trespassing children on his property that he is concerned about. Not once did I hear him say he was thinking of pressing charges until he was on TMZ. I think that was just out of frustration for having just one party going child and the parent show up to help with the cleanup. The majority of the parents are not taking responsibility for their child's actions. Here you have teenagers, publically posting their crimes on social media for all the world to see, and the parents are trying to make Mr. Holloway the villain. Those people are a shame and a disgrace to the world of parenting. Maybe the police should investigate this "neighbor" and find out why they did not report their knowledge of teenagers partying and trespassing on private property before now. Sometimes silence can be taken as approval and that would make them an accessory to the crime, that's all. So I could care less if his home was vacant, damaged and in foreclosure when the party took place. He did not give them permission to be there, period.

HIS EX-WIFE USE TO LIVE IN THAT HOUSE. IT'S TRUE... HOLLOWAY DAMAGED THE HOUSE BACK IN '99 TO FORCE HER OUT DURING THE DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS. IMMA SURE THE TWEENERS TRASHED IT MORE BUT SEEMS IT WAS NEVER REPAIRED AFTER THE EX-WIFE MOVED OUT BACK TO BOSTON AREA. NOW THE DUDE COULDNT SELL IT AFTER ALL THE DAMAGE AND NON-REPAIRS OVER THE YEARS. ONE MORE MONTH AND HOUSE IS ADIOS AMIGOS... POWER OF SALE TO THE BANK. #TRUTH!!

teachable moment

Still no arrests? What's the problem? Not enough evidence? Huh? These vandals didn't post enough pictures of themselves? They left no fingerprints on their beverage and paint cans??? Without consequences, these young people will not learn the lesson they should learn from this. Here's hoping for making the best out of this teachable moment.

The article about Mr. Holloway's ex-wife is dated June 01, 1997 and is just parroting what that estranged spouse said. Hard to connect that to the current events or state of the property.

For photographs of the property before the party, check out Zillow for 742 Ny Rte# 43Stephentown, NY 12168.

I don't know anyone else but it just shows to me that the parents in this community take no responsibility for their kids at all. So what if it didn't come from one party, so what if its close to foreclosure, from their own word the damage came from several parties of the kids in that community. The guy is claiming 20k in damage thats not some exorbitant and unrealistic sum

funny in the photos the house looked in decent shape and if it was abandoned how did they have electricity the parents should be ashamed of themselves...

Regardless of the state of the home, 300 kids broke into it and partied, and there is proof of that. What kind of parent would try to justify their kid engaging in this kind of behavior?

So apparently that excuses breaking and entering and vandalism because others have done it. I say he quits being so nice and presses charges against all 300 of them and their parents.

Way to go neighbors, you dumbasses. How retarded are these people that they are totally fine with anyone, let alone kids, to use a house in their neighborhood as a constant party house. I've never heard of anyone that wants to hear continuous loud music, breaking glass, and people yelling at all hours of the night while they're relaxing at home. They must be a bunch of losers that have lived off of their parents and grandparents trust funds their whole life.
