Jermaine Jackson

Drops Big Bucks On Ferrari

During MJ Jury Deliberations

10/5/2013 7:05 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

1040_jermaine_jackson_ferrariJermaine Jackson may have put the cart before the Ferrari this week ... he bought this wildly expensive whip while the MJ jury was deciding whether to give his family as much as $40 billion.

Jermaine went to Calabasas Luxury Motorcars Monday to pick up the 2009 Ferrari California, which was listed at $169,995.  Sources connected to Jermaine tell us he was able to wheel-and-deal the dealer down to the low 160s.

Jermaine didn't have to plunk down the entire amount.  He traded in his Rolls Royce and got around $90k.  We're told he paid the balance -- just over $70k.

As we reported ... if Katherine would have won her lawsuit against AEG, Jermaine and her other kids would likely have been the beneficiaries of the judgment once she died.  But it was not meant to be.

The only hope left is suing Dr. Murray ... which would put him in the Ford Focus market.

The Jackson Brothers tour for AEG, so Jermaine has to use his own money, but isn't he behind in child support? Shouldn't Jermaine pay child support and taxes first, before buying a car? Jermaine's priorities, as reported by gossipers, sounds way off course.

I'm an atheist who lives really simply and donates to a variety of causes, and it's ironic to me that these "Christians" who spout love and generosity spend money on cars and clothes rather than give it to people who have NOTHING AT ALL and never will. A car is just to get you someplace; mine is 19 years old and travels maybe 3000 miles a year. No, I'm not elevating myself, because I do live in a house bigger than I need, and I do use electricity. But man. Such profligacy and hypocrisy. Buy a scooter (0r 100 scooters) for people who want to get to the community college campus, the dialysis clinic, or the park. There are people who can't afford eyeglasses, people who have no access to clean water, people who can't get lifesaving vaccines, people who....well, whatever. Save a fricking river or woodland, fund a scholarship, blah blah. Whatever. I don't know many "Christians" who do the whole self-sacrificing bit. It's not for a place in heaven, it's just pragmatic. It's what all communities, human or otherwise, do. And we're all doomed for extinction (not any hereafter). Science.

Isn't this the same guy that couldn't pay his child support a while back? He's not working enough to make any decent kind of money, so I guess his mother is footing the bills. The sorry ass moocher had better hope she lives a long long time.

Jermaine Jackson planned on opening a hotel in China with the AEG money he hoped Katherine would win.

The obvious question: Where did he get the money for this?

Just talking out loud... seems to me that Jermaine probably does not smell very good.

I would rather drop that kind of money at Von' s and buy food for people who are going hungry, rather than buying a piece of metal that eats oil and gasoline.

Let's see. Michael Jackson's estate is rumored to now be worth billions due to his death and the rights to the entire Beatles catalog. I would say that the Jackson family is just fine. Failed again TMZ
