L.A. Dodgers

Broken Cameras Are TBS' Problem

Even If Puig's to Blame

10/8/2013 12:39 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

The L.A. Dodgers will NOT pay for the cameras that Yasiel Puig broke during the frenzied Gatorade-fueled celebration after winning the N.L.D.S. last night ... and that's exactly the way TBS wants it, TMZ has learned.

Well-placed sources connected with the Dodgers tell TMZ, broken cameras are all part of the drill during a celebration.

As one source put it, "TBS would never approach us for that. It's all part of the celebration."

Those cameras are nothing to sneeze at -- they can run anywhere from $50k to $75k.

What's more, one well-placed Dodgers source tells TMZ ... other cameras were broken in the locker room during the champagne celebration and nobody from the outside saw it happen ... but no one is complaining.

The cost of doing business ... it ain't always cheap.

Destroying things that aren't yours in celebration? Is he serious? Is that more the definition of "celebration" or more sounds like to me what they do "rioting" in the streets.
Hey we won lets break a 70k camera. that's what you do. What a ignorant fool. I hope they bill them for the cameras

I'm tired of hearing about Puig. He's an immature punk. He's not the second coming. Lets see how he does after a full year in the big leagues before we write checks that his skill set can't cash.

Congrats to the Dodgers, it was a heckuva series. Congrats also to the Braves, who are one of the other teams that I like, and would be rooting for if the Dodgers weren't playing. That said, TBS coverage was terrible, over-the-top bias for their own team, the Braves. It was revolting having to listen to them whine and sulk every time the Dodger got a run. What the hell is wrong with the MLB? They should never have given a post game series contract to a station that has their own team! Obviously their announcers could never be impartial. They were so bad and pissing us off so much my wife finally turned off the sound, and turned on the radio.

Skit! Get it right, his intentions were not to break anything! He threw Gatorade on his teamate, it got the camera wet. Boo hoo! Tbs made bank off of these games

HOLD ON PEOPLE! The greater issue here is the monetary damage done to Craig Sager's toupée... or is that a strategically dyed comb-over!

Just who will be paying for that? Does the Dodger's current insurance policy even make such reparations?

Puig is just a low class punk. He should be deported back to Cuba so maybe he'll learn some class.
